I run a Team Wendy SAR Tactical as one of my NV helmets (figured when sea turtle watching if anyone calls in suspicious person to local LE I can point out that I'm clearly not trying to sneak with an orange and reflective white helmet on my head) + a bump helmet for the occasions where I get into post-hurricane response+... a bike helmet for riding under nods apparently. Love that thing.

I yearn for the orange SAR/Coast Gaurd gear
I know there's an Orange PVS-14 unit out there and I need to find one, i know it exists. I've seen a picture of it in use but I can't find that picture.

@FStephenMasek @the_transit_guy the parking lots are the issue.. not the trees.

@Kyren2fast @IkeVolpe @WubzJackson @vxltvre well regulated meant well functioning, not actually being fucking regulated you nonce
English

@IkeVolpe @WubzJackson @vxltvre ‘Well regulated’ was the point because people can't read. Regulation was always part of the framework. Federal law already limits who can own guns. Try the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922) that applies to the OP. Not every citizen is legally entitled to gun ownership.
English

@goatedhogner @vxltvre you’re * and I actually shoot and train what weird fantasies do u have bro

English

@cheefrunna @vxltvre Of course your from ATL LOL he’s not gonna fuck you bro

Take a wild guess how much my AK weighs
For comparison my MK18 weights a pound and a half less than this

Crabbington@BackupBorn2Shid
@megigogi An AK is fucking heavy no way you're jiggling that thing under one arm

@barely_th3re Decatur Square really is gated, isn't it? Probably my favorite urban slow day hangout in Atlanta.
English

i love seeing suburban city centers in metro Atlanta building real downtowns like this. i just wish that they had Decatur Square-like MARTA connections too !!

@KinjaExPat @thefusilier2 @big_pedestrian it’s not a right like owning guns is. It’s a privilege to drive on public roads. if you want it in your own land, that’s fine nothing required, but the world isn’t your public parking.
English

@cheefrunna @thefusilier2 @big_pedestrian The freedom to buy a car with my own funds is not a right the government should take away.
English

It’s worse:
Americans spend an enormous amount on car payment, gas and insurance so their perception is they’ve paid their fair share. The infrastructure for cars is staggeringly expensive and the risks, costs and harms are passed to everyone else but the driver.
Mark R. Brown, AICP, CNU@CompletedStreet
I think Americans have cognitive dissonance when it comes to automobile expenses. 95% of the U.S. requires a car to do basic things, so it becomes a mandatory tax that people would rather underestimate or not think about at all.
