Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said God forbid that former presidential candidate Peter Obi becomes President of Nigeria. He, however, failed to give a reason for making the statement during an interview with Nigeria Today News Network. Speaking further, Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, advised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to abandon his presidential ambition to enable others vie for the seat. He said, “I have respect for our former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, but I also believe that it’s time for him to simply say ‘let others continue the work’.” On opposition politics in Nigeria, Fani-Kayode stated that no such thing exists because it has collapsed. Regarding the opposition from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Fani-Kayode described the party as desperate for power, with no vision to move the country forward. “I don’t see ADC as an opposition party: I see them as an association of people who are desperate for power. Individuals who are discredited, individuals who have no hope in hell of moving this nation forward. The opposition has collapsed in Nigeria. There is no opposition because they don’t even know how to be in opposition. How can they keep the Government on its toes when they are busy bickering amongst themselves, fighting amongst themselves and they are fast asleep in bed snoring!” He recalled how strong the All Progressives Congress (APC) was as an opposition party and how it defeated the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). @mrfestusogun It is a standard procedure that people are allowed to bury their dead love ones. Even convicted person are allowed to bury or be at the burial of their mother or Father. This is a norm practice

I refuse to believe El-Rufai has been released. That would be an unprecedented ridicule of the judiciary. He was remanded by the court and can only be released by the court. His bail application was to be argued on Tuesday. Releasing him is an abuse of judicial process.

What does he do? You are mixing things up. Constitutionally, every Nigerian has the right to live and work in any part of the country. However, this constitutional right does not nullify Indigeneship and that needs to be respected, so it wrong to describe it as no man’s land. Lagos is only one state out of 36+ FCT, but that one state contributes to 35% of Nigeria’s. Wisdom demands that you nurture well the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Lagos is just a state, but it got a massive £746 million loan. It won’t share it with Rivers or Bayelsa. But my oil money will pay back the loan. The entire Nigeria will pay back the loan. LAGOS WILL REMAIN A NO MAN’S LAND!

@Doctorfredostar @prolactin_ Exactly. I used to have time for patients, but these days I do what is required and move on. Used to worry about family these days i send them to other doctors to treat if they like the listen, if they like they don't listen, I've done my part!

@prolactin_ But that's the best response. You respect the patient's decision, document and move to the next patient. The more you get too worked up about this , the more you lose yourself trying to save a life .

I know this doctor that is very detached from patients. His clinical skills are excellent, he just does not do the whole emotional and trying to convince patients to take meds things. He is like, “you need to take your meds to prevent a relapse” patient says “No”, he says “Okay”
