Because in my case, I use 🚨#BREAKING the way it’s supposed to be used for real, time-sensitive news that is actively happening or just unfolding, and actually matters right now. When I label something as breaking, there’s a reason behind it.
Now if you’re talking about the people who throw BREAKING or “DEVELOPING” on random, outdated, or meaningless posts just to grab attention that’s the real problem as that kind just kills it
Real breaking news is supposed to mean something. It’s not meant to be thrown on low-effort, clickbait, or sloppy content just for views.
