Deepfleet is partnering with Shoonya, a NITI Aayog + RMI campaign for pollution free mobility. Humbled and happy to be listed with great names in EV.

I order Kerala mixture from a delivery App in Kochi. It arrives from Sonepat. Approximately two thousand kilometres from the nearest coconut tree. This is not a complaint about Sonepat. Sonepat is doing its best. But there is something quietly absurd about opening an app, typing Kerala chips, and receiving a product produced two continents away. Kerala has units. Many of them. Small manufacturers who have been frying, salting, and packing these things for generations. The murukku. The banana chips. The mixture with the correct ratio of things that should be in a Kerala mixture. These people exist. Their factories exist. Their products exist. What does not seem to exist is their shelf space. They have been kept away at a safe distance. @letsblinkit and @instamart_it have categories. One of them is South Indian snacks. Inside that category, if you look carefully, you will find North Indian industrial production wearing a Malayalam label. The algorithm, presumably, has its reasons. The procurement team, presumably, has its high margins even when transporting 2000 kilometres. The local manufacturer, presumably, has a lower price but lower margin. I am not asking for a revolution. Though it needs one. I am asking that when I type Kerala chips into a ten-minute delivery app, the chips have at some point been in Kerala. And where is the option for customers to choose from local manufacturers? What is @invest_kerala doing beyond creating some hash tags like #KeralaIndustries #IndustrialGrowth #KeralaGrowth and KINFRA continues to build mega food parks. For whom? Next time you order, turn the packet around. Just check. @vdsatheesan @deepigoyal @albinder

@Ab_Mashu_17 @vdsatheesan A politician's worth is based on their policies towards people, not how many vehicles in their fleet or any other populist factors. Earlier Cm's fleet was 7 cars as clarified if you are interested. I have counted 19 vehicles in K karunakaran's fleet.

Wow 😮!! Look at this convoy of Kerala CM @vdsatheesan. You don’t have to worry about your safety if you are people-friendly. Everyone will welcome you. Now compare this to Pinarayi Vijayan’s convoy. What a difference! ഇത്രയെ വേണ്ടൂ 😂. അയിനാണ് മുന്നെ ചരക്ക് തീവണ്ടി പോകുന്ന പോലെ പോയത്

Indian agencies should build reference designs of everyday electronic goods (ER&DC, BEL, BHEL). They should use indian components and offer the design for free to valid companies and provide certification, maket access support. "How to beat China in manufacturing"

India has officially overtaken the US in EV car sales as a percentage of new car sales. As fuel prices are being increased in India, we are already at 6%+ in May!

@nikhilkamathcio @chamath @nikhilkamathcio , let me be blunt - the prerequisite of you building a "large enough" social media from India is that the govt bans all american socialmedia, atleast force them to have Indian ownership (like how we did on SAIC Motors <> MG)

#scam newer digital signature certificate (DSC) tokens no longer work for different govt websites, forces you to order another certificate for different websites/apps. For example, an individual class 3 token I ordered wont work on IEC/DGFT, forces you to buy another token.

@RajeevRC_X We badly need to stop the war. 1 crore gulf indians send $118B (3.5% of the GDP). The majority of them are malayalees. If UAE/KSA economy crashes, so will Kerala's. Please ask the central govt to begin active mediation. This is the most effective policy decision you can make.

My full speech at the launch of the BJP/NDA’s manifesto for #VikasitaKeralam. In this speech, I laid out a clear roadmap to take Keralam out of decades of misrule, stagnation, debt, corruption, and incompetence under the CPM and Congress and deliver development and prosperity for all through BJP/NDA's #PoliticsOfPerformance This is not a set of fake promises; this is a blueprint for action. 5 pillars of our #VikasitaKeralam manifesto: ✅ Jobs & Investment Revolution ✅ Quality of Life & Affordable Living ✅ Modern Infrastructure ✅ Human Security ✅ Citizen-Centric Governance This is the change. This is #VikasitaKeralam. Maarathathu Maarum. Ini Keralam Valarum! #NDA4VikasitaKeralam #SurakshitaKeralam #VishwasaSamrakshanam #VikasitaKeralam #PoliticsOfPerformance

Dark Patterns in #Amazon . The order details with a lot of options - but there is no option to say the product is not delivered (even when they claim it to be). You are on your own now! #ux

@saurabhyadavz The best way to earn the salary you want is to actually do excellent work. Average people can do it - it's a mindset, not a skillset. Tactics won't take you far.

Trust me, folks - hitting a 40L base comp as an SDE-2 isn’t some mythical achievement. Here’s what no one tells you and actually works: > Start interviewing as soon as you feel even 50% ready. Don’t wait for the “perfect” time. > You’ll get real exposure to interviews - especially those dreaded system design rounds. > Interview at companies you don’t care about. It builds confidence and gives you leverage. > Once you have one decent offer, use it as a tool to unlock better ones. > Most companies will either match it or offer higher. Don’t hesitate to ask for 30–40% more if you sense it’s possible. > Play the game like a king/queen - never lowball yourself. If you’ve crushed the interview, push for the best you can get. > Remember: negotiating is their job. Negotiating well is yours. Pro tip: Comp discussions are like poker. Bluff - at your own risk - but trust me, it works more often than you’d think.

"Build LLM in India" – Stop Lying to Yourselves and Fix VCs It’s been almost two years since @sama said, “you can try,” and someone from Mahindra Group responded with “challenge accepted.” Where are the models competing with OpenAI, Anthropic, or DeepMind? In Nandan Nilekani's recent podcast with Nikhil Kamath, the tech lead at the government level bluntly admitted, "building LLMs is not for us." That’s a pathetic, defeatist mindset. @AravSrinivas is right. Look at the U.S.—their top tech companies and government work in tandem, nullifying benchmarks with every release. Here, all we do is talk. India seems content with the reputation of doing things cheaply while China leads the way in execution. Somehow only China can trigger us. @paraschopra, @championswimmer, @waitin4agi_—all on point. Talent isn’t the issue; it’s the lack of courage. We’re stuck hyping 10-minute deliveries and obsessing over tangible commodities. Most universities don’t even offer decent AI curricula. Mediocre college placements churn out graduates who’ve never seen money, so their only goal is stability. Ambition comes later—if at all. I can’t convince one friend to quit their job and build something meaningful because they draw the line at financial risk. It’s a vicious cycle. How do we fix this? Break the VC/investor trap. They won’t back ambitious founders unless they see "differentiators." What differentiators do OpenAI, Anthropic, or DeepMind have? They’re all chasing benchmarks and mining the same gold. Meanwhile, our VCs keep betting on "build for India" garbage—e-com, UPI fintech, quick commerce. Enough! Start funding "build for the world." Indian Founders don’t need massive funding to start. $30-50k (₹25-40L) is enough for most ambitious founders to prove their commitment. But no one funds pre-seed at that scale. Show us you’re willing to disproportionately back talent. Stop forcing them to move to the U.S. just to get funded. Then, when they succeed, you call them "Indian founders" as if you had their back all along. We don’t lack ambition; we lack support. Back small, ambitious companies with compounding potential. That’s how you win.

Ordered a few items (after a 1 year delay) from @industrybuying and as usual the irems are delivered partially. It just proves that they have not improved. I can return them but co-ordinating 3-4 returns is a mess. Instead have decided to NOT order again. Not worth the time.
