For decades, the U.S. has imported highly-skilled tech workers from around the world on H-1B visas. But the Trump administration changed the way they are granted. CBS News’ Shanelle Kaul reports on how that is impacting the pipeline of global talent coming to America.

I think philippine self hate is so strangely performative. You *have* to show that you’re worse off than everyone else. If you look in the QRTs, it’s people asking to be colonized. I agree that it sucks here in many ways but it just feels like preaching to the choir.

This isn’t just about the sea. Filipino lives are at risk. When rules at sea are ignored, it’s not just territory being challenged it’s safety, livelihoods, and the dignity of our people. We will not be intimidated. And we should never have to ask anyone’s permission to fish in and explore our own seas. We will stay aware, speak up, and stand united to defend what is ours. #WeWillNotBeIntimidated #DefendWhatIsOurs #RulesAtSeaLivesAtRisk #WestPhilippineSea #StandUnited #ProtectOurWaters #SovereigntyMatters #FilipinoLivesMatter
