Fire fighters serve our communities 24/7: never hesitating to run towards danger. But many are working at firehouses in disrepair. The new bill we announced today would provide the resources they need to better support their mission.

On Friday, I had the privilege of addressing members of the International Association of Fire Fighters at their spring meeting. We owe a great deal of gratitude to these men and women who continuously answer the call to protect our families and our communities.

Our bill to stop the use of toxic PFAS in firefighting foam, food packaging and rugs & carpets passed the House unanimously!!
