The internet was built on free labour. Millions of developers, for decades, writing the software that powers hospitals, banks, and billion-dollar companies and often getting underpaid or paid nothing for it. $TAO @gittensor_io #SN74 is built to change that. 🧵

There are 100,000+ open source projects that are one burned-out maintainer away from going dark. Gittensor is an early attempt to fix that with a novel code marketplace. That’s the version of decentralisation we find genuinely interesting: infrastructure that changes who gets paid for keeping the internet running. #SN74 is worth your attention. 👀

We're bullish on #SN74 but let's be real about the challenges they face... - Quality is Uneven In January 2026, the maintainer of sbt wrote a candid post about Gittensor miners flooding his repo. 23 contributors opened 145 PRs in a month. Some were legitimately good. Others looked like AI-generated code that was never tested. He had to write a new contributor guide just to manage it. - Maintainer Burden is a Real Cost Gittensor pays miners. It doesn't pay reviewers. The people triaging the flood of new PRs are still volunteers. If the incentive brings in low-effort contributions at scale, it could cost maintainers more time than it saves them. - The Repo Whitelist Needs Governance It's dynamic, which is good. But who decides what gets added or removed? That's a governance surface that hasn't been fully stress-tested yet. These are just honest challenges of a subnet that's doing something real and new. Worth watching closely.

The flywheel is no longer theoretical — it’s operational. @yanez__ai $TAO #SN54 We said revenue would start flowing into the subnet. Now it is. Real customers → real usage → real TAO flowing into the treasury. Wallet (transparent on-chain): 5F4iZvfmffP7F6x4vTexUjs2jadhw5su7pio6frZbiMkcVcy This is what matters: not promises, not hype — validated demand converting into an economic signal. The system we built is doing exactly what it was designed to do: → Customers use adversarial data → Value is created → Revenue flows back to the subnet → Incentives align with real-world impact This is how decentralized AI becomes sustainable. Trickle → Flow → (you already know what comes next) We’re just getting started.

The flywheel always looks slow… until it doesn’t. Product-market fit is earned through iteration, friction, and a lot of unseen work. Respect to the @yanez__ai team doing the hard part of turning motion into momentum $TAO

What is #bittensor ? Try describing it in one sentence without using the words “incentive, decentralized, open source” - τ $TAO

This is one of the more coherent subnet concepts we've seen As AI agents proliferate and need to move large datasets between endpoints autonomously, a trustless bandwidth layer makes sense. Look forward to more coming out. #SN105 @b1m_ai $TAO
