@Matty_KCSN Was a risk in drafting Simmons and thats why the Chiefs were able to get him at 31. In hindsight i have to wonder if the undisclosed absence was also priced in. All the same I think it was still worth the risk. If Simmons flames out its revisionist to call for "accountability".

Only way it makes any sense is if there’s something unknown going on at LT… which then means some high level decision makers gotta be held accountable And probably not keep getting to make the decisions

Right now in the U.S crypto has never really worked for normal daily spending. The main reason is taxes. If you use stablecoins to pay for something, it can count as a capital gains event. That means price tracking, record keeping and IRS reporting. Nobody is going to do that for ordinary payments. So stablecoins stayed stuck as something you mostly trade instead of something you actually use. A new bipartisan House bill wants to change that. If the payment is under $200, it wouldn’t trigger capital gains tax. No reporting and no paperwork attached to small transactions. Yes stablecoins are already seeing massive growth.. ...but if congress removes this tax headache, they finally get a real chance to function like actual currency.
