A big benefit to lowering voting to 16 is that there would be more focus on political ed for youth. 18-25 yr olds are new to adulthood & all it's responsibilities. They have less time/energy for politics. We aim to fix that by starting the process in a less transitional time

I can think of quite a few politicians who would be pleased as punch with the thought of being able to rely on impressionable teenagers to get themselves elected.

Kodiak being 19C, and much of the lower mainland being in a snowstorm, tells you about the harsh realities of climate change. Allowing the voting age to be 16 is allowing a generation to vote for a liveable future. #bcpoli #BCStorm
