@HerrHusten @minordissent @jonathanbylos This makes no sense from a selfish POV. If I wanted to get the best oucome for myself (guaranteed survival), I would just press red. There is no "need" to rely on others to press blue if my goal is survival. I can just "directly" get survival via red if I am selfish.

I can't speak for all red voters, but literally my entire reason for voting red is because I believe that all blue moralizers will chicken out when the time comes. They will win every no-stakes surveys and then like half of them will press red when their life is truly on the line, such that red wins overwhelmingly and blue is suicide.
