Prop Reveals - Day 8 I am proud to say that I am the new owner of the close-up scale Fergus prop! This is the culmination of my collection and I am insanely grateful to have something like this in my possession. This is certainly an item that I will treasure for life.

@NWSplendor @starhunter1269 Wisbech literally only had 2 bogied coaches (the two you see in the rapido packs) Both were meant to be preserved, but literally just after restoration the other got scrapped by mistake.

@starhunter1269 There were bogie and 4w types of the Wisbech tramcoaches. There's a preserved example, No.7, or 'Irene' as it's apparently known.

@MapEffects I was under the impression that the Native Americans did use copper, just not refined copper and instead turned raw ore into things like jewelry and ornaments

The Keweenaw region in Upper Michigan has some of the highest quality copper in the world, being 95-98% pure. There is evidence of hundreds of ancient mines that date between 4,000 - 10,000 BC and that hundreds of tons of copper was removed. But, we have no clear idea what happened to all of it 👀 As someone who grew up there, I can confirm that there are ancient mines scattered all over, and that local tribes like the Obijwa tell stories that those mines were there when they arrived. If you like ancient mysteries that are a little more niche, this is one worth looking into. This is the kind of stuff that gets my worldbuilding wheels turning.
