@InvertTheWing No WC for Italy might be a blessing in disguise for him, he'll finally get the rest he needs.

what does “distances” mean?
Meia Armador - Mufaddal Idris Burhani@MeiaArmador__

Every approach is ultimately built on balancing three core concepts: distances, mobility, and tempo. How a coach thinks about these three variables dictates everything, from strategy and tactics down to player profiling and individual coaching. What kind of distances he wants the team to play with, how much mobility he wants within the structure, and the tempo he wants the game to be played at will shape the entire identity of the team. It even reflects in the personalities of the coaches themselves, and the type of personalities they prefer in players. Every elite coach accepts certain risks in order to minimise others. An effective team-level strategy cannot exist without balancing these trade-offs. Coaches who try to maximise all three simultaneously struggle to consistently dominate at elite level. There has to be a mechanism that allows the team to control the game, whether through shorter distances, lower mobility, lower tempo, or a balance between them. As distances, mobility, and tempo all increase simultaneously, the game naturally becomes more chaotic. Players have fewer stable references while making decisions, structural compactness lowers, and the physical demands placed on the team are unreasonable across a full season, especially with European football. This explains a lot about the careers of coaches like Bielsa, Postecoglou, and Pochettino. Strategically, it becomes almost impossible to sustain a coherent in-possession model and control defensive transitions without balancing these concepts properly. On a team level everything is a trade-off between distances, mobility, and tempo.

@existantmcfc I don't know you personally but you're more resilient than you know. Just be forgiving with yourself and do your best to fill your life with other meaningful activities.

My wife and I have officially divorced. 33 years of happy marriage, and it didn’t mean anything. I don’t know what to do; I’m currently on top of my window, in tears.

Putting De Zerbi as my profile picture would mean people think I support his actions (I do not). And to be honest, I do not want the headache of explaining to people I do not support his actions on every tweet because of my profile picture. Even though I would only speak about his tactics.

@SebC__ The club had to delay Frank's sacking because there was no backup plan in place. I would be surprised if they suddenly decide to make a timely decision like that.

@existantmcfc I don't think anyone wonders at the situation really, they've been terrible all season. Club is a mess.

Tottenham decided to spend a collective £200m on Mathys Tel, Connor Gallagher and Xavi Simons. And still, they wonder why they’re in this situation.

If Tottenham are smart enough, they’ll have one of the best U21 CB duos itw by next season for less than €30M.

@InvertTheWing Nobody should be a nailed on starter when these are the results we have to watch every week. They look absolutely abysmal.

But remember guys, I was told by some people that the managers know more than us, and Mathys Tel has done nothing worth of deserving a start!
