The landlord (effectively the @CityofHamilton) has allowed the building to fester with infrastructure issues: black mould, cracks in the foundation, efflorescence, floods and leaks in the building, bedbugs, cockroaches, and in one case wasps, etc. There have had to be new cameras, lighting, key card access added to the building. I involved Municipal Law Enforcement. All of these improvements to the building were because of my advocacy. In 2024, the landlord had to spend $230K above their allotted budget because of the reactive maintenance that was neglected. This year, the organisation has a $4.3 Million dollar unfavourable variance. They were going to let this building become another Jamesville incident. So no, they are mad they have to follow the law. They offered me $20K and an NDA to stop advocating, I didn't take it, then they filed the N5. It's purely political.

This week I had the pleasure of guest lecturing in two different @McMasterU classes! In Carrie McMullin's class for Foundations of Community Engagement, I taught alongside Fayth Frank about mobilizing findings from research projects in impactful ways. We also discussed the process of producing an infographic using an iterative process. In Dr. Sarah Whitwell's class for Gender, Feminism, and Social Jusitce, I taught about trans- and sex worker-inclusive feminism. Incredibly rare genetic abnormalities don't change that human sex/reproduction is a binary system But if we are basing legal pronouns on sex determining Karyotype (XX/XY) alone, technically they are still "female"

I am a chimera. Factor that in. Was a male + female fraternal twin set that became me when the one died/absorbed. I have an SRY mutation AKA Swyer Syndrome. You are very obsessed with genitalia as if genotype isn't distinct from phenotype.
