Senator, the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act was first introduced in 2019. Democrats passed it through the House twice. Republicans blocked it in the Senate both times. Democrats had the White House and Congress in 2021 and could not get it across the finish line.

Make prices go higher, requiring people to depend on the gov. Then the gov gets to control that person and keep their votes going the right way.
