Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you. If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment. Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.

Sysco is owned by… you guessed it, BlackRock & Vanguard. Now private equity can control pricing for food costs with zero competition. Just like they did with housing. For many families, that could mean hundreds of dollars lost, or roughly a $300 tax burden compared to those who comply. That is the wrong direction for a pro-Second Amendment state. Today it’s a tax credit. Tomorrow it becomes the excuse for broader safe-storage mandates, higher compliance burdens, and more government intrusion into the lives of law-abiding gun owners.
