@demsocsean I’m surprised he hasn’t yet pulled a Manchin/Sinema and become an independent

If he runs for reelection as a Dem he will 100% lose in a landslide that’s basically unprecedented in the modern age.

Yeah, I’ve brought this up to others but Fetterman is significantly more unpopular with Dems in PA than Sinema ever was in AZ. He’s just significantly more popular with Republicans than Sinema ever was and that’s holding up his overall approval rating.
(((Harry Enten)))@ForecasterEnten

John Fetterman's had a 108 pt drop in his net approval with PA Dems since 2023. His net rating is -40 pt net approval with them. His net popularity with his own party is worse than all senators who lost a primary this century. There's no historical analog to his unpopularity.

i would be far more willing to have fun with these kinds of memes if they were not always used as a vehicle by lbj boosters who have felt threatened by a dead man for 63 years

@TNOQuoProQuid LBJ boosters as a whole are just really weird breed –– they're like an odd, bizarre mix of Nixon apologists and Camelot appraisers. They want a feel good president who says slurs, but is also Woke In A Cool Way™

@Shadowcoder203 @Saulcialist @nazzobetweeting Google is free you fucking retard look it up yourself. Literally go to google dotcom and look up "cancel culture in the past decade" and you'll find it all. This isn't a "gotcha" you're not as smart as you think you are, I don't owe you a work cited page

i’m of the belief that what rama posted when she was 15 during the early days of social media don’t really matter and weren’t malicious and it seems most leftists agree which me which shows me that they were capable of understanding context and intent all along, just chose not to apply it when engaging in idiotic applications of cancel culture the last 5 years that did irreparable damage in shifting the general population’s public opinion away from us! hmm!

@trouble_man90 I supported him in 2016 (and voted for Hillary). I was genuinely excited for some New Deal Liberalism, but he tanked it and turned into piece of shit over the past decade. Sanders let in the crazies just like Goldwater did with the Far Right.

… and no one was supposed to get upset when @gigibsohn helped mastermind net neutrality at the @FCC without the slightest concern for ISPs first amendment rights that then judge Brett Kavanaugh identified in a dissent that has effectively become the law of the land? The catastrophe queens think no one knows how to use Google to look up their time in office. This whole concept that @BrendanCarrFCC is a policy outlier is false. Every @FCC does things that irk the other side. Nothing new here.
David Folkenflik@davidfolkenflik

"Nothing here is normal," says ex FCC senior staffer Gigi Sohn. "This is the prime example of the fix being in... In 35 years of doing this - I've never seen anything that even vaguely approaches what has gone on today." 8 U.S. state AGs & DirectTV are suing to block the deal.

@Sionistic @aobrien2010 That’s because they largely do agree with Trump on regime change in Iran, but can’t openly say so

@aobrien2010 Shes right. When a Dem complains about the process, it reads as "I'm not actually opposed to the war, I just have to sound like I'm opposing Trump"

@isaiah_bb 2008 is so long ago it's in a long abandoned wing of my memory palace, but I do recall the HRC supporters making life hell for Obama supporters during the precinct convention at UT Austin and going into histrionics for the rest of the primary about a thrown chair or something lol

@wfdltd @tobinjstone He only received 58% of the primary vote as the sitting governor. He’s performing even worse in the caucuses now than he did in 2020. He will probably still win but let’s not pretend he’s some juggernaut savant

Hickenlooper lost the convention in 2020 and still easily won his primary against Romanoff. Caucus/Convention attract out of touch activists who don’t even represent primary voters. Sorry to the DSA activists, but Hick and DeGette will easily cruise to victory in June 🤷‍♂️

What’s happening among Colorado Dems w/ @daveweigel: Sen. John Hickenlooper and Rep. Diana DeGette, will face primary challengers who got more support from delegates at local party conventions last week. semafor.com/newsletter/03/…

@Mountain_Twhick He is incredibly stubborn and continues to double down on anything once criticized. It was fine when that issue was, like, LGBTQ rights and he was waving the pride flag all night at the PA state Capitol to spite republicans who criticized him

The thing is if this if he was a more tactful politician, he could’ve supported Israel just as much but not been actively obnoxious and in everyone’s face about it, and probably kept that seat. Alas, he’s dumb as shit.

Said this before but “so and so is going to Fetterman us” takes almost universally leave out the Israel factor. There is both a deep genuine loyalty to Israel within the ogre so he run away from Progs, and a strategic acceptance that he’s dead to them now and needed a new tack.
