10 states—Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Pennsylvania—have confirmed they will not send an official delegation to the “Great American State Fair” on the National Mall in celebration of America’s 250th. 9 of the states are led by Democratic governors, with Vermont being the only Republican-governed state to decline involvement so far. Notably, PA Gov. Josh Shapiro tops the list of highest paid governors.
Pennsylvania is one of the greatest agricultural states in America—and as one of our original 13 colonies, it deserves to be represented at the Great American State Fair as we celebrate 250 years of American agriculture and our nation's founding. I'm grateful to @SenMcCormickPA and @SenFettermanPA for stepping up to help ensure the Keystone State has a place on the National Mall. From dairy and mushrooms to apples, poultry, and so much more, Pennsylvania's farmers, ranchers, and producers have helped feed America for generations. This celebration is about honoring the people and places that built our country. Pennsylvania belongs at the heart of it, and I look forward to welcoming the Commonwealth to the Great American State Fair. 🇺🇸🌾

The Supreme Court has allowed TPS for Haitians to end, putting families in Springfield and communities across the country at risk of being sent back to a country in chaos. Congress can and should extend these protections.

Supreme Court this week ended Temporary Protected Status for refugees here from hell holes like Haiti. Now that President Trump has succeeded in stopping illegal immigration why not show compassion to those already here? If they are otherwise following the rules, give them a break to honor America’s big birthday.
