Oh you’re going to a teaching hospital in July? Well get ready… for the most compassionate care from extremely empathetic interns along with their vigilant supervising attendings. Hope you like open ended questions and doctors listening to you bc you’re gonna drown in it.

Black women are more likely to experience miscarriage, stillbirth, and the loss of a newborn compared to white women. I am researching to learn about the experiences of Black women who experience perinatal loss to develop initiatives to support Black women.

I have worked with and known Amy for the the past 5 years. This is a horrific loss for the CDC and the work of MMRCs. My heart goes out to her family and those at the CDC.

After many years of analysis and writing, I am pleased to share our final published work, “Attitudes of Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists on Prenatal Diagnosis, Disability and Termination.” You can access this article here: doi.org/10.1016/j.ssmq…

9 yrs ago my younger brother was born w a rare genetic disorder. Drs advised my parents to terminate bc they felt raising a disabled child would be too burdensome. Yday I graduated @YaleMed w an award winning thesis exploring Drs views on genetic dx & disability in his honor.

@DGlaucomflecken Agree with you. As a PD I really wish the interviewees would not spend time on thank you notes. Even with virtual interviews

Oh my some strong opinions here. In a future world with in-person residency interviews, I firmly believe that if you travel thousands of miles at great expense to interview for an extremely stressful & underpaid position, the interviewer should be sending you a thank you note.
FinalAnswer@BelleAMama1

@DGlaucomflecken What a dumb take, even if you’re being funny. Thank you notes should always be written after interviews. It’s professional courtesy, no matter what.
