An important FOI revelation:  Both UKGI’s Richard Callard & its former General Counsel, Richard Watson (now full-time District Judge), are exposed as having misled the Post Office Inquiry with regards to their knowledge of the existence of the Swift Review.

@stugoo17 The barrister in question apparently has "no recollection". Convenient. He still needs to be put on the spot - if errors are identified in his reasoning then this could help educate current and future lawyers. No recollection - that is unacceptable.

@stugoo17 first question is who was the defence barrister who decided not to call the expert witness? At first sight, this barrister needs to explain what looks like a really weird decision.

This morning at 8.29am a US military MC-130J Hercules took off from “RAF” Mildenhall (US Air Force base in Suffolk with 4k American personnel) It flew over Europe before turning off its transponder over Slovenia MC-130J is used by US special forces and designed for infiltration

@kennardmatt They didn't turn off their transponder. They were landing in Slovenia and flew below LOS of the four receivers needed for multilateration; we lost a fix when they went below ~5000ft. That's completely normal. globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=ae5dfb&l… #ae5dfb
