If I was in charge of the America 250 concert I would do something radical and simply go out and find artists who play great music and hire them even if they aren’t famous. Prioritize artistic quality over name recognition. A novel approach for conservatives but worth a try.

Yes, you could say that. Except no one who paid money to see that movie paid it because of him. And I could prove that easily - look at the box office numbers of any of his other films that were not sci-fi or horror that he was the lead actor. People were paying to see a horror movie, not him. His acting was OK, which is all that was asked of him. I still can't figure out why these black British actors pop up in the strangest of films that they don't deserve to be in while Black American actors starve.🤔

As an Australian, I’m genuinely confused by artists refusing to perform at America’s 250th celebration. This is a once-in-250-years opportunity to celebrate the country, its history, and the people who helped make these artists wildly successful. Walking away because the event might be seen as political only makes it more political makes zero sense to me.🤔 To me, this should be bigger than personal politics. It should be about celebrating America and the people who supported these artists every step of the way.
