@Keefles Clearances help, sure. But when your clearance machine is only running at 70% effective disposal, or the ball is stating inside and contested, rather than being moved outside for him to move and run, it doesn't help all that much.

The Western Wall - usually filled with prayer during Passover- stood empty this year due to Iranian missile threats. Israel protects all its citizens, without exception.

Ah this old chestnut again. Males being paid more in sport than women. Well I hate to say it (but I will) women's sports do not generate the same level interest or income male sports do. If they did they would get paid the same. Simple really. Hardly anyone cares what the Matilda's do. Most people, myself included couldn't name the squad!

As a general rule women's sports generates less interest and therefore less money, but when there's an exception to the rule, as in your example and the Matilda's last week, that extra revenue is undoubtedly not adequately shared.

Trade-offs exist, but visible relief > abstract shifting.”

Well, that didn't take long. Yes, halving fuel excise would be dumb. It'd increase demand for fuel *and* the savings would be spent somewhere else in the economy, increasing inflation *there* instead. Populist policies are not helpful.
