He has many allegations against him. You can not just take his word for it. If he is innocent, just release the files to clear his name.

I think, Trump notwithstanding, the status of ‘one-party state where the security chiefs decide acceptable candidates’ is probably our future regardless. Trump slipped through (twice) but Trump is “The Mule”, the perennial exception. Will never happen again.
