The problem is that we rely on financing to purchase these homes. If you choose to save $3190 for 15 years you end up with 574,200. If you saved it for 30 years that would be 1,148,400. Understanding that the loan is taking more than their “7%@ every year is the true awakening. Now when you take that saved cash and invest it in a smarter investment than letting the dollar inflate your savings away, that’s when you truly become free to the shackles of our financial system. Stop taking loans out and just save a set amount every month in a smart investment. You could use STRC or BTC and eventually unshackle yourself from the reality of our dollars inevitable decay.

We want builders to build starter homes at $200–250k so the next generation can actually... start. Instead, they sell $400–500k+ homes and call them “starter homes.” $3,190/month is NOT a starter home.
