@BasedCaptan @RivianTrackr He is on our plan but that’s not how Tesla insurance works. It is based on his safety score from Tesla and how he actually drives. Each car has its own score. Looks like premiums are going down in May.

$530/month is not cheap or affordable. My group of friends love EVs and tech and also are quite well off, they would never pay this amount of money for any car. This is why I struggle selling Rivian on them so I hope R2 can help with this.

I used to work on offshore oil rigs. The generators that power them are the size of a small house. One day a technician forgot to lock out;tag out while he was checking why we were having voltage drops on the pump floor. A supervisor came by and saw the third generator was off and decided to fire it up. I was in the room trying to find a replacement pump sensor when it clicked. Boom pop zap. I saw a human explode, turn to plasma, then carbonize. The sound and and smell never leave.

I've noticed amongst friends who have little kids that they are basically forced into waking up when they do. When I was little I remember v clearly knowing that we shouldn't go and wake parents until at least 9am on a weekend, and generally entertaining ourselves in the morning

@TheChiefNerd No you have to have training. My son-in-law is a Journeyman Electrician working on a data center in Oklahoma and he is paid $130,000 a year. Just saying. Maybe they pay that much in California or something. Idk ?
