@Gucci_VonDucci @Recna8 @Spectre799games Furthermore, she does have the gift of foresight.
Before she died, she did instruct Kratos and Atreus to cremate her body and scatter her ashes atop the highest peak of the Nine Realms. Why?
English

@Gucci_VonDucci @Recna8 @Spectre799games Possibly, yes.
However, it could also be that someone or something intervened? She was surprised to not be in Alfheim when she arrived in the Everywhen.
English

@miksiekik @itsCozyBella There's a difference between showing up for someone and fighting for them.
Fighting for someone implies their feelings aren't reciprocal, and there is already a rift in the relationship.
English

@ItsKryptson @itsCozyBella no...? why would anybody wannabe with someone who doesn't show up for them. like bro this is exactly why yall end up in toxic relationships, cuz you get with people before even knowing if they're worth it or not, this goes both ways lol.
English

as a woman .. why are you making him fight to begin with ??
moonchild💫@moonchild23580
WHY? as a man, why are you not fighting for the girl you want?
English

@Recna8 @Gucci_VonDucci @Spectre799games I'm not mad at you.
I merely stated in the mythos she is actually considered a god.
English

@ItsKryptson @Gucci_VonDucci @Spectre799games So, for now, we have no evidence that she is the goddess? Then, why are you mad at me? That larper caught one word: "goddess" that the rando called her and ran with it.
English

@miksiekik @itsCozyBella The right person won't make you fight for them. They will just be with you.
If you play mind games and put people through tests to prove themselves to you, it shows your insecurity and demonstrates that you are emotionally abusive.
English

@itsCozyBella because a person wont give themselves to you for free...? you have to actually show effort and consistency if you want to get in a relationship with someone. 💀
English

@KalebDimes @Gucci_VonDucci @Spectre799games Yes, the game depicts her as a Jötunn, but in the Prose Edda and Poetic Edda she is listed among the Ásynjur, as a goddess, and Loki's father, Fárbauti, is the ice-giant.
English

@Gucci_VonDucci @Spectre799games She isnt a goddess. The people that didnt play the other games are exposing themselves. Fucking larping loser
English

@TheJustinExp @xMBGx It's a dialectical double entendre.
Ares is a God of War. Tyr is a God of War. Sekhmet is a Goddess of War. Begtse is a God of War. It's not just Kratos!
English

@xMBGx I think calling it God of War is disingenuous because you are not the God of War, God of War is Kratos. They are cowards who want to turn every male main character into a woman, but they want to cash in on the name that a man built. Does the game look fun? sure.
English

@gaersstapa @nuhre_ It's a dialectical double entendre.
Ares is a God of War. Tyr is a God of War. Sekhmet is a Goddess of War. Begtse is a God of War. It's not just Kratos!

It’s so embarrassing when studios have to come out and explain things that should’ve been common sense from the start.
We are genuinely reaching “the developers had to clarify that water is wet” levels of discourse.
Santa Monica Studio – God of War Laufey@SonySantaMonica
@GermanStrands Kratos is the God of War – we have many more stories to tell with him. For now, we’re excited to take fans on a journey into the afterlife of the gods with Faye and hope you’ll come along for the ride!

@TitanCAPSLOCK If it’s called Frank it 100000% has a different identity

As a mythology/ancient culture enjoyer, the Cube has me thinking it's probably going to be revealed as a specific thing (which would probably be spoilers to post).
Odd choice to characterize it if I'm right, though.
Rurikhan@Rurikhan
Game looked fun, cube obliterated any semblance of immersion. When Faye was fighting red demon dude all I could see was the derpy cube derping around the arena.
English

@UniDaSensei The games are called God of War because the title is a dialectical double entendre.
Ares is a God of War. Tyr is a God of War. Sekhmet is a Goddess of War. Begtse is a God of War. It's not just Kratos!
English

@omegacloud @Nine4West @AshenOne_VI In the Prose Edda and Poetic Edda, Laufey is Loki's mother. We don't know for certain that she is or isn't a god, but she is listed among the Ásynjur, so many believe she is.
His father is Fárbauti. Different people. Not gender swapped.
English

@ItsKryptson @Nine4West @AshenOne_VI She’s not a god
Also shes actually gender swapped in the game. The character in Norse Mythology is actually Loki’s dad
English

It’s perfectly fine if you don’t like God of War: Laufey.
It’s also perfectly fine if you do.
Personally, I liked most of what I saw. The only thing I’m not sold on yet is the cube. A jelly cube feels a little out of place in a world that’s usually so grounded and serious. 😅
What surprises me more is how people react online. It feels like you can’t simply enjoy or dislike something anymore without immediately being put into a camp and labeled…

English

@Nine4West @AshenOne_VI Could you elaborate on what is Phranque's purpose?
English

@ItsKryptson @AshenOne_VI Ok I just read up on it, I can see where they going with it now. Another guy explained the cube part too
English

@DestinLegarie Okay? My point is, in the mythos, she's already a God, not a Jötunn.
The games are called God of War because the title is a dialectical double entendre. Ares is a God of War. Tyr is a God of War. Sekhmet is a Goddess of War. Begtse is a God of War. It's not just Kratos!
English

@ItsKryptson Yeah we know that from the last two God of War games.
English

@Nine4West @AshenOne_VI Yes, in the mythos, she is a god, not a Jötunn, as in the games. Perhaps they're going to explore that?
English

@Nine4West @AshenOne_VI In Norse mythology, Laufey, also known as Nál, is the mother of Loki. Canonically she might actually end up being a god.
English

@AshenOne_VI Bro I was wondering the same thing about the cube too. What mythology is this apart of and Fey not a God

@Bartosz09238722 @juannahuel It's in his bio. Senior Character Artist.
