Under our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodi avl’s visionary leadership and our Hon HM Thiru @AmitShah avl’s relentless push for a Naxal Mukth Bharath, the Left-Wing Extremism-hit “Red Corridor” that once stretched across 12 states and 126 districts has been reduced to just 2 districts and 60 police stations today. The 35 “most affected” districts of 2014 are now zero. Between 2024 and 2026 alone, 706 Naxalites have been neutralised, 2,218 arrested, and 4,839 surrendered, while 406 new CAPF camps, 596 fortified police stations, and 68 night-landing helipads have been built since 2014, ensuring the Central government’s firm footprint in areas where Maoists once ruled in parallel. Roads sanctioned in Left Wing Extremism areas have reached 17,589 km (12,000 km completed), nearly 5,000 mobile towers, 1,804 bank branches, 1,321 ATMs, and 6,025 post offices now serve the very villages where Naxals once burned schools, banks and dispensaries. Our HM has rightly exposed the harsh truth: Naxalism was never about poverty; poverty spread because of Naxalism, and this armed movement was ideologically nurtured from the late 1960s by the then-ruling Congress leadership, including the decision to embrace Left ideology in the 1969 Presidential election and further shielded for decades through outfits like the NAC and Urban Naxal networks. From Naxalbari to Bastar, over 20,000 youth lost their lives, and 12 crore Indians were kept in fear and underdevelopment because previous Congress regimes lacked the political will to crush this gun-first ideology and often chose to walk alongside its sympathisers instead of standing with our security forces and tribal brothers and sisters. As citizens of a secure India, we bow to our CoBRA, CRPF jawans, state police (especially Chhattisgarh Police & DRG) and the brave tribal brothers & sisters whose sacrifices, backed by the decisive will of our Hon PM and Hon HM, have given India a Naxalism-free future that generations under Congress rule were denied.

From Legacy to Living Inspiration: Shaping a Year of Impact for Krantisurya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule’s Bicentenary Birth Anniversary Chaired a meeting of the committee constituted to plan the celebrations of the bicentenary birth anniversary year of Krantisurya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule today. The bicentenary will be celebrated from 11 April 2026 to 10 April 2027. With an emphasis on carrying his ideas forward, directed the implementation of a year-long calendar of programs based on his life and work. Instructed each department included in the constituted committee to organize at least two to three programs. The planning for such inspirational programs should be submitted by April 15. The Zilla Parishad school in Khanwadi (Taluka Purandar, District Pune), the native village of Krantisurya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, has been transformed to preserve his legacy. Directed that the bicentenary year should commence on April 11 with the inauguration of the Khanwadi Zilla Parishad school, equipped with CBSE education and modern facilities. For this purpose, instructed the formation of a sub-committee under the constituted committee to ensure the successful implementation and monitoring of year-long programs. Literature based on the life and work of Krantisurya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule should be translated into multiple languages so that people from different linguistic backgrounds can access it in their own language. Also directed that the programs organized by the School Education Department should include participation from private schools. All suggestions from ministers and departments should be consolidated and necessary action taken accordingly. These efforts will ensure that the legacy of Krantisurya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule is preserved and continues to inspire generations.
