@MichaelJelen What do you mean? Closed ticket markets without secondary would be a lot worse for concert goers for outlier acts.

A concert ticket is the only product I can think of where the people most willing to value it are systematically prevented from getting it. A loaf of bread goes to whoever pays. A house goes to whoever clears underwriting. A concert ticket goes to whichever bot was faster. Worth fixing.

The experts in secondary ticketing severely overestimated pricing for the NBA finals in San Antonio but on the flip side prices were actually underestimated in NYC. I have seen sales all day today for games 3 and 4 over 5k a ticket for the worst seats at MSG. San Antonio tonight has been below $700 to get inside all day. @spurs @nyknicks
