@NickKristof @elonmusk Just bc you blame him for those people dying doesn’t mean he killed them. Where’s your proof that he killed them? This is yours to prove! Your source is “trust me bro”. You care so much, why aren’t YOU and your rich ass friends providing aid to these people then?

Elon, I can give you many, many names of people who have died because of your aid cuts.:
*Yamah Freeman was a 23-year-old woman who died in childbirth because you stopped paying for the diesel for ambulances in her part of Liberia. I talked to her parents and sister in their village.
*Gbessey Kiadu, age 1, died of malaria because of your cuts in Liberia. I talked to his mom in her village.
*Ibrahim Koroma, an infant, died of AIDS in Sierra Leone after you interrupted HIV supplies. I talked to health workers who cared for him.
*Achol Deng was an 8-year-old girl with HIV in South Sudan who died when you cut funding for the health care worker who provided her medicines. I talked to him.
I could go on and on. In almost every village you go to in South Sudan, Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone or other countries I reported in, you find people dying because of aid cuts. I challenge you: Come with me on a reporting trip, and we'll talk to these moms and dads, and you'll see the dying children themselves. I think if you see the kids whose lives are at stake, maybe you'll change your mind.

The problem with blaming Elon for supposedly “killing millions of children” is that he was not the king of the United States. He was an advisor to the President. If these spending cuts were really killing millions of children, why would the President approve it? Why did Congress not come together to override it? Why did courts not overturn it? The reason all this hate was directed at one person is that they wanted to neutralize him. He was cutting the waste and fraud they lived on. So they had to equate cutting waste with “murdering millions of babies”. It’s ridiculous when you think about it. But we have enough stupid people in this country that the argument worked and we are still in the same mess. This man figured out how to launch stuff into space for a fraction of the cost. He figured out how to make electric cars profitably. He could have transformed the federal government too if the fraudsters anti-viral response wasn’t directed squarely at him.

Yesterday, we wrapped up the week with @LeaderJohnThune visiting with the men and women at the ICE facility in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Day in and day out, these individuals track down illegal alien criminals, narco traffickers, sexual predators, and remove them from our streets.
