High school coaches are expected to be champions, recruiting consultants, film scouts, & relationship managers — on top of teaching 6 classes a day. For pennies on the dollar. Some good ones are walking away. That’s a problem nobody’s talking about.

@WildDogsOnly @bdmoss88 @D3Direct It is a NCAA rule. There are so many good athletes at the D3 level. The schools and the athletes would benefit if they would embrace that model. I believe it would improve not only the play on the field/court etc but give much needed respect to the level that it should have.

@bdmoss88 @im_saved @D3Direct Dude that is absolutely not how it works. I encourage you to read up on the process of moving up divisions in college sports. It certainly isn’t just “we want to give out scholarships now so we’ll move up” I have no clue where you have gotten this idea

@WildDogsOnly @im_saved @D3Direct Yes, they do agree to not give scholarships. If they wanted to give scholarships then they would join D1, D2 or go to the NAIA.

@im_saved @D3Direct It's not that the NCAA doesn't allow athletic scholarships in D3. D3 exists because it's a group of schools which don't want to give athletic scholarships.

🚨 HIGH SCHOOL RECRUITS 🚨 Don’t let coaches or other people give you false information. If you go play JUCO it COUNTS towards your eligibility. The injunction in place was strictly for this current academic year. Shame on any JUCO Coaches who are lying to dudes in the process telling them that going to play JUCO ball won’t cost them years of eligibility. It’s simply NOT TRUE!

This is absolutely not what any coach should be doing. Everyone knows you’ll miss some things in the profession but missing the birth of your child? Hell nah

This ain’t rocket science: -D2 has 32 team playoff. -FCS has 24 team playoff. -Neither have conference championship games. -Eliminate conference championship games. -24 team playoff (top 8 get bye) -Selection Show Sunday at noon. -Round 1 games start the following Saturday.
