Just so you know, as the Lebanese government prepares to sit with Israelis while still under invasion and fire to discuss the mere possibility of a ceasefire, the people of this country are bracing themselves, because ahead of any kind of pause comes vicious punishing Israeli airstrikes on civilians. That’s who you think you can make peace with? You’re prepared to trust them and the US rather than potentially be folded into an Iran settlement?
