@theTNShow How much did they give Foster Moreau in Free-Agency? How many tight ends make the team? Someone just got pinched, and it might e been by a guy not ready to contribute year 1.

Would like Houston to add an explosive playmaker on offense - Malik Benson, WR, Oregon - Deion Burks, WR, Oklahoma - Demond Claiborne, RB, Wake Forest Would also like Kaytron Allen or J’Mari Taylor to compete with Jawhar Jordan for EDGE3

@JohnCrumplerMD This is the most Texans ass draft I’ve ever seen. When Caserio says “his big board is smaller than most teams”, what he means is that he stopped trying after pick 36. This is why he didn’t care about tossing away draft picks. This draft is going to be crushed by experts.

@Texans_Thoughts I genuinely believe the Texans felt like they got their 2 allocated rookie starters from the draft and were ready to auto-sim to finish. Same thing happened last year when the Texans traded up to take Jaylin Smith and Marks while they had all those picks to burn.

Klein was in the 150s on consensus boards so he went 100 picks earlier. But some draft analysts had him as a Day 2 guy and like his potential. We'll see! Every draft shows us Caserio will overpay/reach for players of need who fit our identity. They calculate BPA differently

Marlin Klein was a reach. I had a 5th round grade on him but hopefully I'm too low Here's my scouting notes - solid blocker on zone runs but needs to improve technique on gap/power. Didn't think he played to his testing athleticism Developmental guy who will be a 24 y/o rookie

@battleredblog Nick Caserio can’t help himself. He HAS to have at least one or two picks where you complete throw their draft value accrued out the window.

@TexansCap Please for the love of god tell me they didn’t already trade away pick 59. I wouldn’t be surprised.

Texans traded up to No. 36. Houston receiver No. 36 and 117. Las Vegas receives No. 38 and 91.

@SeanTPendergast I felt like the run on tackles helped speed up the announcements. Fewer guys to have long discourse about. I like the pace. It is really nice for people like me who prefer to consume the draft by listening to @jharrisfootball and the gang on @SportsRadio610 and tracking twitter.

F the Titans
Aaron Wilson@AaronWilson_NFL

The #Texans didn’t have to move far or give up much to acquire Keylan Rutledge. The Texans didn’t want to take any chance of losing out on a player they love. A league source said there was an actual threat that they could have potentially lost out on Rutledge within the AFC South. The #Titans were trying to move ahead of the Texans with the intention of drafting Rutledge, per an #NFL source. The Texans wanted Rutledge throughout the draft process, per sources. “Moving two spots was more of positioning that anything else,” Texans general manager Nick Caserio said. “We felt like there could potentially be some interest in the player, so we felt like: ‘Alright, let’s move a couple of spots.’” @KPRC2 click2houston.com/sports/2026/04…

@Texans_Thoughts Scruggs, Metchie, Wallow, Harris, Booker, Quitoriano. The aggressive trade ups drive me insane. I honestly think Caserio hates rookies and never wants more than 6 or 7 on their roster at any time. They will never have anything more than special teams vets filling out roster.

@SheaSerrano My 3 y/o son was turned on to Toy Story franchise for the first time recently. I forgot how emotionally taxing the last 30 minutes were. When the claw saved them from the incinerator my son threw his arms in the air and shouted “Yes!”. He was sitting there silently in anguish.
