idk man, everyone's using opus 4.6 w/ a 1 million token context window... but it gets dumb really fast this is an old graph from @trychroma showing performance degradation from context rot, it's testing the older Claude models but the effect is the same it's better to /compact, use agent teams, planning mode, etc., really try and keep the context as short as possible while keeping enough details to do your task that's only if your task is bottlenecked by intelligence... not all tasks are!
