👍 I'm glad to have Harappan genetic heritage -- believe it was largely good stuff for the modern urban world. However, beyond that, &some mundane typically Indian food habits, it remains mute behind a veil. What really matters to our identity is IEan in provenance

Big fan of the Indus Valley and all, but the lack of literature from it means there is nothing for me to relate to. I have zero cultural/religious attachment to it. Who were these people, what did they believe in, what were their stories? Just gone in the sands of time.

The biggest propaganda is that Sikhism gained popularity because of Hinduism's archaic principles, particularly Varnashram.
All Sikh Gurus came from one caste - Khatri and largely their children also married within their own community.
If it was so egalitarian then why this?

Sikhism was salvaged by a Hindu baba Banda Bahadur and always thrived because Hindus always thought Sikhs as our own, even after Bhindranwale and Kanishka and General Vaidya. Nihangs will end Sikhism. Religion can cause disturbances in modern world, can’t create empires.
