The greatest error in judgement of the Europeans is presuming that they are our equals. Even the whole collective of the EU does not qualify as our equal, let alone individual countries. Those of us who have been on the receiving end of European narcissism view them with barely veiled contempt, especially since their prosperity is specifically held up by us.
