what i learned after living in america for half a decade is that not one single american cares about what europeans think of them

it's also worth pointing out that if they did, america would not be the world superpower conversely, if european countries started caring more about Americans' opinion of them, maybe they wouldn't be on their way to becoming second-world countries

The greatest error in judgement of the Europeans is presuming that they are our equals. Even the whole collective of the EU does not qualify as our equal, let alone individual countries. Those of us who have been on the receiving end of European narcissism view them with barely veiled contempt, especially since their prosperity is specifically held up by us.
