My boss 🤣🤣🤣

@PythonPr Papa left us beginning of the year. He got really good at PC, could work his laptop. I laughed at first then remembered a few things. Files that hide, Apps that hide, photos vanish.. and software updates drive anyone crazy!! Love my Dad, so much. God rest his dear soul 🖥 💻🙏🏽🕊

I worked desktop support early in my career. I had to support one CEO who would regularly close his laptop while it was running, tuck it into his bag, go to a hotel, and toss the whole bag, running laptop and all, onto the bed. Then he'd come in the next week asking me to rescue the data on the hard drive. He did that like 3 or 4 times before I was finally able to get a SSD for him.

@PythonPr I like it how comments are completely ignoring the fact that the boss has literal superpowers! Try deleting you own computer like that, fat chance!

@PythonPr Yeah but ask him how did you save and get programs off a cassette. They will say simple, we would type save cs1, our run cs1. You also had to get the counter to know where your program was on the tape.

@PythonPr Same as my boss .....he can't even take a screenshot on the phone or fi d the settings tab on the company iphone but he early over 10k usd

@PythonPr That happened to me once. Boss dragged critical parts of the OS into random locations. I spent the rest of the day rebuilding the system. In his defense, GUIs were new back then.

@PythonPr I gave my Dad big credit for getting a new Gateway when they were hot - over 60, never had one. He did well, until Windows did something and he managed to delete everything ...

@PythonPr Yeah, they don't pay good money just for being good with Windows.

@PythonPr The reality is quite the opposite. This is something younglings are more likely to do, as most younglings have no idea how to use technology these days.

@PythonPr I had coworker long ago on a Mac who literally kept doing this, dragging all the apps to the trash can. He thought it would run the programs.

@PythonPr If only that worked, I would be able to just say "sorry, can't fix that" which would solve so many issues.
