@UpIsNotJump Honestly probably part of what hurt the game. There's absolutely nothing of any real substance in the actual game and on top of that there aren't even any funny Bethesda moments where you get hit by a guy and get thrown to another planet or whatever

@UpIsNotJump I'm one of like 5 people who actually enjoyed Starfield and to be honest, it's not actually that stable once you reach a decent amount of hours. Not even them fixing the save file bloat bug fixed it all that much. It's typical Bethesda fare 💀

@UpIsNotJump I know Starfield gets a lot of hate but honestly I think it doesn't get enough. I'll say I was disappointed but I played Skyrim and FO4 so it being underwhelming was kinda expected.

@UpIsNotJump stable? it was and has been the only game on my pc to cause the entire thing to chug and massively slow down as if its about to have a stroke only during launch... then someone it makes it through. and then randomly suffers stutters that take 50 fps down to 10. stable my ass...

@UpIsNotJump Starfield makes me genuinely worried for TES6. The Oblivion Remaster doesnt count bc that was done by a different dev team putting on a fresh coat of paint

@UpIsNotJump it's not even that stable lol on release it was very common for saves to corrupt or for the game to hang forever in one of its billions of loading screen it's just that all of its bugs are actually things impeding your enjoyment of the game instead of funny shit so nobody cared

@UpIsNotJump That's not what they said and that's not true in the slightest. Starfield would have been a great foundation for a new Universe had Bethesda not fumbled the ball and planed for Mod support, and the repeat concept was actually a nice way to put New Game+ into an RPG

@UpIsNotJump If we are talking about Bethesda at the very least its not expected i suppose. Doesnt help when the game itself has the charm of cardboard.

@UpIsNotJump I mean for an RPG it's definitely an achievement imo. Most of em' launch quite buggy and unstable and are eventually patched up. Been that way since like forever.

@UpIsNotJump That seems to be fine for alot of other games and franchises, so why is it wrong to be happy a bethesda game was stable?

@UpIsNotJump Dude could at least zip up Todd's pants afterwards. Look, I like Starfield, played it on the Xbox game pass. It's not worth $60 or even $40. It's not terrible, but it's not great either.

@UpIsNotJump Also much easier to do when the entire game is nothing but instances and loading screens and instances and loading screens, rather than an actual open world that normally causes their bugs.

@UpIsNotJump Tbh a game not crashing years after release because i toggle a single option in the graphics menu is an improvement by Bethesda. Also Starfield is a great game about exploration. I just wish some systems would be easier to interact with.

@UpIsNotJump Considering Avowed crashed in the menu whenever I walked away for five minutes? Yes, stability is the biggest selling point when the alternative is shit not working at all.

@UpIsNotJump tbf ever since games have been connected to the internet the number of games that release terribly day one and then get patched is stupid, i'm actually at the point where if a game works as it should day one then it should automatically be in the running for GOTY 🤣
