These giant spheres are within 0.05% of a pure mathematical golden ratio. Then, multiply in the odds of the Moon and Sun aligning (entirely independently of that Kepler triangle) to produce perfect eclipses, both solar and lunar… ie: the Sun is ~400x the moon’s diameter, and ~400x farther away. What are the odds there? Then multiply in the odds of a life-supporting planet-moon system forming at all, with a *giant* moon that stabilizes tilt, gives us tides, and lets complex life form. Just the odds of Earth supporting any life at all is like Goldilocks on crack. Then multiply that by the odds of *conscious* life evolving here to witness it all, with the resources to build the tools to measure it. Then multiply the odds of us being here *right now*, in the tiny cosmic window when eclipses still happen, before the Moon drifts too far for them to work. Then multiply by the odds of the golden ratio appearing again and again in math, nature, music, etc. It beggars belief already. Now get underneath all of THAT, and multiply the odds of the laws of physics themselves allowing any matter to exist at all. Mathematical constants like the Fine-Structure constant, the cosmological constant, or Euler’s identity (numbers that physicists like Feynman openly admitted were bizarre and beyond human reckoning) You’re looking at something like 10⁻¹⁰⁰⁰⁰, at least. That’s like plucking a single atom out of all the atoms in the universe at random, scattering them again, and picking the exact same atom the second time. Now repeat that, 100 times in a row. And don’t even get me started on innate good and evil, synchronicity, the supernatural, or DNA being code that builds tiny nano-machines. This place was created and tuned. And we’re here for it. 🍿🙏

You are 100% correct. Put even 🤏 real time + research into IQ for even like 3-4 hours and you’ll be legit horrified. Sub 115IQ are basically what Harari and his ilk think of as “useless eaters/mouth breathers”. 85-100IQ are essentially autimatons. Not to say that these people are bad/evil humans, just that they dont really have executive function. Many are kind as can be. They weren’t just “slower, but they’ll get there” in school. They really are C-average at everything. They are why “oh look, boobs!” or “oh look, it’s shiny!” actually works.

@HomieSanto There are Genuinely NPC's out there among us. You just have to stop thinking the NPC 'Theory' is merely a meme. These people cannot learn and think ahead, and never will, and they are not equal or similar to those who can think for themselves. It's just a universal fact.

I’ve noticed a pattern; when a decent game comes out that expects you to be curious, to be observant and to pay attention, a lot of tourists-turned-reviewers are the first to rage quit, refund, or low-grade that game. Some games aren’t for everyone, but I’m starting to think the pattern is made pretty clear by those who say they don’t like yellow paint, but absolutely need it.

After wasting 20 minutes slamming his head into a boss with nothing but starter gear, Phil concludes that Crimson Desert is not a good game and rage quits.

@TheDezembro It didn't come across right but this isn't an indictment against Crimson Desert, I haven't had the chance to play it yet. It's just a thing I run across in some Eastern games and as much as I love them, more than most games, and tends to be a barrier to entry.

Dear Eastern devs, I love your dedication to systems but ya'll are wild as fuck when it comes to controls and you need to handle it. You don't need to make 2 button control Western games but I'm tired of playing Dance Dance Revolution just to open a door.
Pirat_Nation 🔴@Pirat_Nation

Crimson Desert players are asking for refunds due to the game's terrible clunky controls. "Whoever designed the control scheme should seek employment with the devil."

@ALegendaryDrops Dude, cmon. This has to be clickbait. You aren’t this bad at games. I have zero problems except for the “stand exactly here” stuff. That’s not the buttons.

@NikTek Dude. This is no different than complaining that electric powered machines were beginning to make manufactured goods back in 1905. Like… it’s a shame nothing is really handcrafted anymore, but also you can get a lemon squeezer without a favor from your local blacksmith now.

I also have to add this; This doesn't suddenly make the game a worthless slop. There are developers behind this game who hand-crafted animations, 3D assets and in-game characters that brought this game to life. It just sucks that in a beautiful game such as this one, there is presence of AI-generated art in some places which instantly take the beauty of it away when you come across one. AI-generated art in video-games shouldn't become the norm for future games when real artists still exist

They could’ve taken an in-game screenshot and add an oil painting effect in photoshop which would’ve looked thousands times better than this. The presence of generative AI in this game really raises the question; how much did they use this for other in-game assets?
GameRoll@GameRoll_

A Redditor has discovered an AI generated artwork in Crimson Desert. There are other posts that also claim to have found AI generated images throughout the game. It’s not even a “good” image. Pure slop, just look at the horses legs LMAO. Really disappointing.

@NikTek Literally who cares? Unless it makes the game worse? This is like bitching that an electronic sewing machine was used to add tags onto mass produced clothing in 1905.

@Pirat_Nation Who cares? The game is rad. The controls and puzzles filter out all the smooth brained morons. Caring about AI generated assets in 2026 is like caring about electric sewing machines making clothes in 1905z

@Yasshbhardwajj It’s only going to go up. The game is amazing. It IS a filter for dummies though. In 2026 LotR (the book) would be labeled as “mid” by people who never left The Shire because it was too tough a read.

@GPrime85 I’m literally not having any issue woty the controls. They aren’t simple, but if you slow down and learn them it’s just fine. People are retarded. The only issue is having to stand in the right spot to interact. But thats not controls, thats gameplay.

IGN joins in the Crimson Desert AI asset hate train as they post on X using Sprout Social, an AI-powered posting engine... Sprout social is an AI tool for generating, refining, timing, and optimizing social content for posting on platforms like X, and it's used a lot by mainstream media companies. The reality is that everyone and anybody is using AI tools to expedite content. Yeah, these AI assets in Crimson Desert are janky and are likely holdovers from the 2023 MidJourney 3 era of placeholder assets. Also, remember, the hate of AI is widespread in the West, but rare in East Asia, where they are embracing it as a new powerful tool, so they likely don't care about it at all.
