Coming out of Iraq there was always a shakedown inspection at the APOD ("Aerial Port of Debarkation") for the troops who were leaving and headed home. The idea was to catch any illegal war trophies, ammo or other contraband. On my way out the door, a female E-5 from the Signal battalion had ~$20,000 in small bills in her duffel bag. Turns out she was personally running a one-woman brothel out of a port-a-potty. There are more ways than one how port-a-potties in a combat zone get nasty.
