Here’s one: You’re holding a gun to your own head. You can either pull the trigger, or you can not pull the trigger. What do you do?

Can black and brown voters still vote? Can they still select between candidates in their preferred party? Can they choose the candidate from their preferred party over the party they oppose? If yes to all three, then how are they disenfranchised? Because they're not given little racial ghettos isolated from the rest of the electorate?

Suspending a primary election days before early voting starts just so you can redraw the maps to disenfranchise Black and brown voters is a perfect example of the lengths Republican politicians will go to rig our democracy in their favor.

There are things that I could say to black people that will get my life destroyed. There is nothing a black person can say to me that will get theirs destroyed. That is the power to enforce bigotry and prejudice. Blacks have had it for 50 years. No one's impressed with the victim act in 2026.
