🚨🔥 RUMOR: Microsoft podría llevar 1-2 años desarrollando internamente un MMO de Halo al estilo Destiny 2. La filtración llega de un usuario no verificado del foro r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, así que conviene cogerlo con muchas pinzas, pero las pistas que ofrece son llamativas. Según la fuente, fue Obsidian Entertainment quien propuso originalmente el concepto a Microsoft, basándose en el éxito financiero de otros MMO como Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76 o World of Warcraft. Phil Spencer habría dado luz verde para probar la idea, aunque Obsidian no sería quien desarrollaría finalmente el juego. Sobre la jugabilidad: encarnaríamos a un soldado ODST con misiones en varios planetas, raids, mazmorras y PvP completo. El proyecto seguiría en fase muy temprana, sin haber sido aprobado oficialmente como desarrollo completo. ¿Os molaría un Halo MMO al estilo Destiny 2 o creéis que es una idea fallida desde el primer minuto? 🤔

@MarathonTheGame @MarathonDevTeam Paid 20$ for the recon bunny bundle. Not sure why the sticker I really wanted is nearly pixel small, the display made it look much larger in the shop then in game. Not sure if it just scales differently cause of weapon.

We've just fixed an issue that was allowing Rooks to join non-Sponsored Survival queues. While the experimental mode is active, all Rooks will now be correctly be funneled into Sponsored Survival for the remainder the mode is live. After the mode concludes, Rooks will then be released across Tau Ceti once again.

@JayViperTV Imo, as someone who's only experience with an extraction shooter is COD: DMZ and not a game dev: It looks generic af to the average consumer. All the colors and sci-fi robots and blocky weapons/equipment look and feel like they were taken from any sci-fi media from the 80s & 90s

No one has been more fair towards Marathon than me. It's just objectively a bad game. Live service games don't lose half of their players in 3 weeks after release when they're good. That's a fact. Cope and seethe.

With Permission from Cozmo, I am now posting about this. I received a 1 month suspension from Marathon a couple days ago for "deliberately ruining the online experience for others, either by cheating, exploiting a game glitch, or being disruptive" Let me make this clear. I am more than ok with this outcome. I made a mistake and did something fucked up. I'm willing to take this. No questions asked. No complaints given. I have reached out to both Fired and Icy and done what I can do to make amends and properly apologize. It doesn't make up for what I did, but I would say I am now on neutral terms with them for the most part. If ANYONE knows how I can properly reach out to Astro, do please let me know. In the mean time I am compiling a large list of every exploit I know exists or theorize to be possible within the game and handing it over to Bungie. It may not be much, but its my first step in making amends to Bungie. To the greater Marathon community, I apologize for how my actions affected the perception of the game as a whole. I love Marathon a lot and the fact I gave the haters more ammunition isn't something I am proud of. If you would like to hear more regarding this situation and my thoughts, I did an interview with @Geezaws2 that I think accurately depicts them. One of my team mates Ivan (YoItsMcNoodle) is also included in there and I fully agree with a lot of what he said. I will link the article below This will be my last post regarding this situation outside of answering questions people ask. For now, the road to redemption is long. See you on June 11th when I take the first step. (P.S. Yes, I bought twitter premium just for this post. I'm not proud of this either but I didn't want this to be a giant thread instead of just one easy to read post. I'm cancelling the subscription after this post.)
