Until 1971, Los Angeles Airways would ferry passengers to and from LAX, Disneyland, and other destinations across LA’s 75+ helipads. But the noise & cost of helicopters has prevented any new urban air taxi service from taking off in the last 50 years, despite numerous attempts (including my previous team at Uber). I’m pumped to announce that @flyarcher is changing that as we unveil our Archer LA Air Taxi Network ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games, the Super Bowl, and the FIFA World Cup! Proud to announce we've signed an agreement with @etihad Aviation Training to be their first eVTOL partner in the region.
