A married man in Brazil who repairs mobile phones at a market had a customer come in for service while his wife was present in the shop.
He stepped out to look for a replacement part.
Later, as part of his usual end-of-day routine, he checked the security camera footage from his shop.
What he saw on the recording took him completely by surprise.

@PuntnMore @SenMarkKelly We got Trump because of the blunderes presidency of Obama & Biden.

@SenMarkKelly Americans need to do better in electing leader, Trump leadership make it clear that bad leaders not only reside in Africa. It's everywhere

Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is down by about 97%. That’s a huge problem for the world economy because nearly 20% of the global oil supply flows through the Strait. What makes it worse is that the oil that is flowing is on Chinese ships and the transactions are in Chinese yuan. That’s not good for the United States or for the U.S. dollar.
This is only the latest in a long list of actions taken by Trump that weaken the U.S. economy and our standing abroad. Over time, it's impossible for the world not to question if America should play such a central role in the global economic system.
The U.S. benefits from global commerce because American dollars are often involved on one side or the other, but the dollar’s dominance is not a promise and the reserve currency can change over time. If the world begins to transition away from the dollar, it will be viewed as one of the greatest geopolitical blunders of all time. Costs and inflation would rise, which could raise interest rates — all of that is more money out of the pockets of families.
All of this risk and instability could've been avoided if we had a president who considered the fact that Iran could disrupt the Strait of Hormuz before launching a major war.
I traveled through the Strait when I was aboard the USS Midway in the First Gulf War. In that war, we had a clear strategy and goal from the start, and we executed our mission without getting caught up in a long, bloody war that cost thousands of American lives. I worry that's where this war with Iran is headed if things don't change.
Hundreds of American servicemembers have been injured and more than a dozen have lost their lives already. I don't want to see any more.

@Jackistan45 @Oxygen18_ Does kohli live in council housing in the UK ?

Look at any cricketer, whether a youngster or someone of Virat’s age. No one has that facecard, fitness, and overall look like Virat Kohli. Perfect fitness, perfect height, character, mindset, everything that an ideal man should have.
Now look at Vadapav & Dhobi, you’ll lose faith in looks. Both of them look terrible. Rohit looks like a 50-year-old uncle with a fat belly, partially bald, no fitness, no looks, no facecard, and no strong personality. Same with dhoni as well. Agree or cry, but Kedar Jadhav looks better than Dhobi and vadapav.

@KaptainKosmo88 @cbiker78 @gurumilespoints I agree. Its the GULTS (telgoos) that are causing all the problems.
Also, turban wearing punjabis. But all north indians in general are crude, mannerless and have no civic sense. Dehatis.
English

@Pyrazoleurea @cbiker78 @gurumilespoints South Indians are worse in my experience. They're the ones causing all the problems in the US.
English

Dear Indian parents, please teach some basic civic sense to your kids instead of hiding under the guise of, “He’s just 6 years old.”
Story time:
On my flight from Phu Quoc to Da Nang, two kids were seated behind me. They were super noisy and constantly kicking my seat. I politely asked them to stop three times. The fourth time, I had to get up, turn around, and call out their parents.
Instead of being remorseful, they started defending their kids.
Mom: “They are on their third flight.”
“They are just 6 years old.”
I replied, “How is that my problem? You need to teach them how to behave in shared public spaces or atleast take care when you can clearly see what they are doing.”
Dad: “If you have any issues, please talk to the cabin crew. Take business class next time.”
Mom: “When you have kids, you will understand.”
Actions like these are part of why Indians often face racism abroad. It’s not all Indians but it only takes a few to damage our reputation and become a global embarrassment.

After last night bombing bonanza by Iran - no commercial plane is able to land in Ben Gurion International Airport which is damaged.
Now all the settlers who were promised free land in the West Bank which they can steal from Palestinians, are fleeing by the land border with Egypt or Jordan, or if they are rich they can charter a private yacht for their family at USD 20,000 to take them to Cyprus island which is about 300 km away.
The total urban and industrial areas of Israel is very small - about the size of the city of Paris (100 sq km). With no more interceptors and early warning radars, at the rate Iran is bombing Israel - by 30 March 2026 most building in Tel Aviv and Haifa will be razed to the ground.

@0xmsks @amplify137 Enough of the big lecture. Distilling water for human consumption is pretty simple. No need to run the ship at full speed.
English

at this moment, all of them (blocked vessels) consume water only for essentials such as cooking, limited showering and laundry, and time to time running purifier (for fuel separation; to keep Diesel Generators running and produce electricity).
Fresh Water on-board is produced by Fresh Water Generator which is requiring ship's ME (Main Engine) to run on high enough RPM to get cylinder jacket cooling water reach high enough temperature (around 80-82 degrees celsius) and then directed into Fresh Water Generator where vacuum distillation is taking place.
As vessels are going from point A to point B, sure they're producing Fresh Water into Fresh Water tanks, but as soon as you're approaching manoeuvring areas or approaching your destination you are reducing RPM and stopping production. You did your calculations and it was enough Fresh Water in tanks for you to spend, say 1-1,5 weeks for loading/discharging at port and leave it to continue your sailing and start production again. You can't say exactly how much they consume in their current situation but it should be around 1.5-3 cubics per day.
All of them also have Dry Storage with cases of bottled water which they're essentially using in eco-mode right now as well. Same story with food. As vessels are travelling around the globe, they are not storing food, meat, fruits, water etc. with idea that they can stuck for 3-4 weeks without supplies. I do think, that most of them using month-to-month rule for stock (companies operating on different schedule though). Most of them have their so-called 'home port' which they're visiting often and it is economically beneficial for the owner to take supplies, bottled water (basically provision), fuel, spare parts etc. in there.
It is 50/50 situation with calling provision from countries around where they're currently stuck. It is either will be cancelled by companies in this countries OR they will charge crazy amount of cash for such a delivery (given situation; especially for water). Bunkering of Fresh Water for a sufficient amount in tanks will cost now probably more than to buy fuel, lol.
Then, you have another issue that they are probably now operating on Heave Fuel Oil which is requiring: a) heating it up to burn; b) running purifier (need water). So it's kinda a closed-loop issue as you need to run Boiler to heat it up (say 1 ton of fuel per day consumption), run time-to-time purifier (water), and run 1x Diesel Generator for electricity (on minimum load, maybe around 220–250 g/kWh). With generators, you realistically now can run 1 only of 4, with maybe 200-300 kWh consumption (so you adding around 1.5-3 MT per day of fuel on top).
Guys are in a very very bad situation right now anyhow; you can maximise your economy of fuel, water, food -- but there is nothing you can do on a long enough timeframe as no one was prepared for such situation.

🚨Crews at risk in the Gulf🚨
Just heard from a crewmember on one of the 3,200 ships stuck in the Persian Gulf.
A ship called the local port authority requested permission to dock as they had run out of water.
They were denied permission!
Multiple ships are in the same condition, with stores, food and fuel running low.
Ports are overwhelmed and security is such that they are refusing permission for ships to dock.
Crews cannot get off and reliefs cannot fly in.
What is being done to address this matter @POTUS @SecWar @SecDuffy @DOTMARAD @IMOSecGen @IMOHQ.

English

@amplify137 @mercoglianos Better yet, they can distill some of the sea water. Also small boats can ferry around and deliver supplies.
There is no need to DOCK a ship.just to get a cup of water.
English

@mercoglianos Wait, so a ship can carry thousands of containers and god knows how many barrels of oil, but they can't carry enough water to last for a couple of months?
English

@mercoglianos There is water literally all around them. Stop whining. Grab the sea water and distill it.

@grok @VascoDG2 @WallStreetApes @grok Do the companies charge actuals or they pad these charges and earn a profit on them as well ?
English

Most of these are government- or airport-related (not invented by Enterprise for profit):
- Sales Tax: direct state/local gov tax.
- Concession Recovery Fee: company recovers what it pays the airport authority to operate on-site.
- Customer Facility Charge: airport-mandated fee for rental facility improvements.
- Tourism Commission Assessment: state law requires companies to pay tourism boards; passed on.
- Vehicle License Assessment Recovery: recovers state DMV registration/licensing costs.
The agency collects/passes them through but the root mandates come from gov entities. Total add-ons like this are common at airports.
English

American rented a vehicle for $50 a day for 17 days from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the cost was $850.00
But then came the fees…
- Sales Tax: $92.47
- Concession Recovery Fee: $98.42
- Customer Facility Charge: $45
- Tourism Commission Assessment Rec: $29.75
- Vehicle License Assessment Recovery Fee: $29.75
Estimated Total: $1,151.51
That’s $301.51 in taxes and fees to rent a vehicle
This should be illegal
English

@Monkeyiobe @WallStreetApes Even if you read tge fine print, what can you do about it ???
English

$850 advertised, $1,151 charged .... the Monkey paid 35% more than the price tag 😳. Those fees aren't illegal, they're just buried in fine print the Gorilla knows you won't read. "Concession Recovery Fee" literally means Enterprise charges you for their airport bill. You didn't rent a car, you funded their overhead.
