@TfL @MayorofLondon if you really cared about congestion and emissions you'd sort out London's bridges. In 30 years of commuting I've never seen a longer queue for Putney Bridge. And it's a Friday! Making it miserable for motorists doesn't solve anything.

@Baddiel We're just relational objects with waveforms relative to other objects. The fact that we can consciously recognise interactions (and tweet about them) is just an emergent property of the gloop in our skulls...

Not entirely convinced by relational quantum mechanics as outlined in Rovelli’s Helgoland. Still seems to me to be privileging consciousness - the observing I - even as it claims to be dismantling it. I get however that it’s a bit early on a Sunday for this kind of tweet.

Update: The latest ONS figures show another 559 excess deaths in England & Wales in week ending 12 June. A cautious estimate of the total number of excess UK deaths to 22 June is now 65,700 Of these 65,202 have happened so any revisions will be small 1/
