Just read Randy Winn talk to Baggs about the minor league successes and dude couldn’t stop talking about “playing the game the right way”. Anytime someone says that you just know they are light years behind. It shows everywhere.

The most damning thing about the Giants is them getting wholly outclassed by: • The Rays • The Diamondbacks • The Rockies • G1 v Milwaukee Low-budget teams doing all the little things right. Mid (should even be higher) budget team doing all the little things wrong.

@C2Cbsbl @GarlicFryRy Yeah I think Gilbert will still get ABs. Rodriguez won’t so they should send him down (and make him work on OF not C) but that would make sense so probs not what they’re doing

@Talking_Bay If I’m allowed to get greedy, put Eldridge in the 3 hole or higher simply to maximize his at bats. If we’re not competitive (which we’re not) I want him getting as many at bats as possible every night

@Hark22249156618 @Abnegazar1 I definitely agree. But we aren’t contending for anything this year so I’m not too pressed. Kid is going to be in the middle of our lineup for 10+ years and we’ll soon forget the days he batted that low in the order

@Talking_Bay @Abnegazar1 In my view I think we would benefit a lot from him having slightly more lineup protection. He's been walking a lot while hitting 7/8 which is great but our catcher and CF struggle to knock him in
