@TheStreetsofATX @MowglisKrib @JCChristopher Literally, if a tesla is no longer in fsd it is no longer engaging the accelerator and will slow to a stop. So in the 4 seconds after she disengaged fsd, the only way it would stay at the same speed or accelerate is if she had her foot on it.

I went to the exact same location of the Cybertruck accident shown in the Fox News video. This is the US-69/59 Eastex Freeway northbound HOV lane at the Y-split near the Eastex Park & Ride exit (approaching from downtown Houston toward Humble). In the Fox News video, the vehicle failed to follow the right curve, going straight into the barrier. Well, I tested it twice today with Tesla FSD engaged the entire time with zero human intervention. And unless you think I am a hologram speaking to you from another dimension now, it worked out really well. Here is the video of me taking the exact same curve twice, with Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5.

Hope the day goes well for you! I left my last job after informing HR two weeks prior that if the CIO cut any more of my senior staff I would leave. 2 weeks later he did, so I felt no obligation to give 2 weeks notice, I gave specfic conditional warning directly to HR. So came in the next day and resigned, then took a 6 month sabbatical before taking my next job. Plus at 4 prior jobs, once I gave 2 weeks notice, they immediately terminated due to "security risk" since I pretty much held the keys to the Kingdom, so two weeks didn't matter anyway. In all cases I got full leave and sick payouts and contract specific compensation. Hope you were prepared for that possibility as well. Let us know how it went. Are you planning to take any time off? Hope the day goes as planned and expected!

@perlyngemark @DillonLoomis Exactly. I support speaking openly about faith, but then to be a Trump justifier and supporter absolutely diminishes anything said about faith.

@DillonLoomis Jesus was all about empathy and compassion. Caring about others, etc. How do you call yourself a Christian when you supported Trump with his racism, his corruption and pedophilia? I will never ever understand how ANY Christian would vote for him

I really do understand why Christians "pushing" their faith is annoying. I was on the other side for awhile actually But I hope you can understand if we (Christians) really believe the Bible, we are not given the choice to keep it quiet. We'd have to be selfish cowards not to share the good news and to warn of what's coming And we will never be able to explain with words what it's like to see Jesus for who He really is. To actually know Him Other than a child, I've been given everything a man could ask for. Of all the beautiful things life can offer, none are even worth comparing to having a real relationship with Christ Someone is right about what happens when we die. Make sure you put the time in with an open mind to get it right. After five years of research and questioning, the evidence was clear for me and God then rewarded me with the gift of faith. The only reason I'm still breathing is ultimately to point people to Christ My sharing is always out of love, wanting for others what I've been given. If you think Christianity is foremost about morality and behavior modification, you really understand nothing about it and the Truth is so much better than you could ever imagine

The specifics on the red hands issues are this: High speed on the interstate first with max speed limited because of rain occlusion of the cameras. No red hands yet, but this is always a prerequisite of the upcoming red hands. Now off the interstate on low speed local roads and come to a stop where I am then taking a 90 or more degree left or right turn. So just after completing the turn and still at less than 15mph, red hands occurs. Has happened on every version of 14.2, but with the most frequency on 14.2.2.5 This doesn't happen in the rain on low speed turns of this type if I haven't first been on the interstate and had my max being limited by rain based camera occlusion. So that is a dependency for this red hands issue to occur. Has happened ten times already on 14.2.2.5 in this scenario.

@Tesla_PNW @DillonLoomis Not doubting you but I have been in several Florida downpours with no red hands. But, I agree, until that is the case for everybody its not totally satisfactory.

I'm one of the biggest Tesla fans around. But can we stop saying FSD is solved. Please We have one Unsupervised Robotaxi in one small geofence in a geofence with limited operating hours. That is not "solved" Ashok helping to oversee Macrohard to get things sorted out does not mean FSD is solved. It means Elon wants his brilliant mind to speedrun getting xAI back on track and integrated with Tesla's team, structure and tools Does Tesla internally have 14.3 waiting in the wings to launch with Cybercab next month that will scale and "solve" it? Possibly Do I think Tesla is going to "solve" FSD soon. Of course But until that actually happens and we move beyond one Unsupervised Robotaxi, let's relax and not exaggerate data points for clicks $TSLA

@DillonLoomis I consider FSD functionally solved for driving to the point where I feel it is much riskier not to use it. Map issues and parking issues remain, however. Even after those last two areas are handled, I suspect Tesla will continue to refine FSD for a looooong time.

@JuniperDriver @DevinOlsenn 14.2.2.5 and all versions of 14.2 are grandma's passing on the right on the freeway when the left lane is blocked by slow jerks who won't get out of it. Aggressively makes the move over to the right lane then does nothing to accelerate to accomplish the pass once it's there.

Tesla FSD does basically all of my driving with a push of a button - but to be transparent I would say on almost every one of my drives I still have to do these two things: - change the speed profiles regularly to deal with speed control issues - use the turn signals; this is to stop the car from making stupid lane changes or to get the car into the proper lane so it doesn’t miss an exit. I still think FSD is amazing but I really cannot wait until these issues and the few other lingering problems with FSD get solved.

FSD does 97% of my driving, well over 70,000km since I’ve owned the vehicle. You know how many times FSD has curbed my wheels? Zero I wasn’t paying attention yesterday when I took over driving for a quick second and heard a horrible noise as I ran the tire into a curb. I’m 100% positive FSD would have avoided it, but instead the dumb human behind the wheel (me) ruined my rims 😭

Sen. Slotkin (D-MI), re: the terror attack in her state, just said DHS needs to be funded. She voted YESTERDAY to keep it unfunded/closed. That vote ended after she publicly acknowledged the attack on social media. Four jihadist attacks on the Homeland in two weeks. DHS closed.

I did this 2.5 years ago. As a senior Director of IT in our very successful organization a new CIO came on board and started screwing up the organization big time. I protected my staff for along as I could, and when they messed with my most senior engineer who had given his career to the organization without my input, it was time. I no notice left the next day. Since then, 14 of the staff followed me out the door, that CIO, along with the useless CISO, we're both fired within 6 months, and I have brought some of those folks on at the place I am the Director at now and member of the senior leadership team. Also helped find many of the others new positions with other companies in the area. It was the right move at the right time. Good luck with this change and great discernment as you look to what is next.

On Monday, I will resign from my job as an IT executive. I’ve led a large team for several years. Soon after arriving, I realized the role was not what I expected and the environment was unhealthy. Instead of leaving, I chose to view the situation as a challenge. Over time, I shifted from trying to improve the situation to focusing on supporting my employees as best I could, often at my own expense. Last week, however, I found myself unable to protect them any longer. That moment came when I had to lay off an employee and friend of 25 years, with no involvement in the decision. I lost any sense of purpose. So on Monday, I will walk in and resign. I expect that over the next several months, many more will follow, though I realize the company may not care unless it impacts the bottom line. But my wife and family, my purpose, will care.

The requirement for forms of ID that require you to pay money for them. There's to be no financial impediment to people voting as stipulated in the constitution. This can be solved by them either funding a national voter ID card or funding the issuance of passports or enhanced driver's licenses in the Save Act. If this is really about securing our voting rather than disenfranchising people, then they should have no problem with adding this and spending at tiny fraction of our budget on this.

Seriously it will disenfranchise voters. Because it requires types of ID that you have to pay money for, which is illegal according to the Constitution. Because you are not allowed to charge people to vote. There's to be no financial impediment to voting. It would require an enhanced driver's license, a passport, or a birth certificate. Millions of people do not have a legal right to their original birth certificate, if they were adopted, and any birth certificate they may get at this point will likely not match their legal name. Others simply will not be able to source the original Birth Certificate since those records have been lost in fires and floods and other events. The record is far from complete out there. There is also a cost to request a copy of a Birth Certificate when it is available. Enhanced driver's licenses and passports. Both have much higher costs associated with them. And many millions of people don't drive or travel outside of the united states at all and would have to buy these for the express purpose of voting. This can be solved by them adding to this Save Act a national voter ID card which they supply for free to all citizens. If the goal is really to secure elections, rather than trying to disenfranchise people, then this should be something they are eager to do to ensure secure and fair elections. Either fund a national voter ID card or a fund to issue enhanced driver's licenses or passports for free and actual time to implement this.

@Tesla_PNW @TechOperator I don't have any issue with everyone proving they can vote. I just have a problem with the word 'free' as it's really you and me paying for someone else to be able to prove it. No government service is free no matter how people angle it
