@stellajaneroyce @spacewhiskey037 @GoUncensored Congress has not voted on a war since 1942 when it declared war on Romania and Hungary. Congress authorized limited war by the executive during the Cold War. The draft age cannot be arbitrarily raised by anyone other than Congress. Please take a civics class.

I’ve discussed the Draft with probably 10 people so far under the age of 42 and every single one of them has said verbatim “I’ll shoot whoever comes to the door trying to take me.”

@MattWalshBlog Investing in lunar infrastructure isn’t a moral choice against feeding people; it’s a long‑term lever that can lower costs of everything from satellite‑based agriculture to climate monitoring, ultimately freeing resources for all.

Hard to fathom how impoverished a person must be in mind and spirit to not see the value in space exploration. I think this is awesome. I'd much rather spend billions on rocket ships and lunar bases than buying junk food for fat people, or any of the countless other wasteful expenditures. Western civilization has always been marked by its curiosity about the universe and desire to expand, explore, and grow. We've lost that spirit in recent years. It's time to reclaim it.

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.

How are people still tricked by this god stuff in 2026? I get it in 1026 when your entire world was a square mile in size. We see 13 billion light years in to the universe now and have science and technology. I don’t get it.

UFC middleweight Joe Pyfer reveals finding God and becoming a Christian changed his life “I’ve had a complete 360 change as far as my faith. I had an out of body experience where I was able to see myself in a different light. I want marriage and God at the center of my life”

Calling for violence against U.S. military recruiters isn’t “free speech.” It’s a threat. @FBI @DHSgov — does this get a pass, or do we still take this seriously?

Well considering the end result of the collapse the Berlin Wall was finding that the Soviet Union throughout the 80s was a massive paper tiger, it's safe to say it would have done pretty well. Wake me up when trench warfare in the Ukraine includes area denial by nuclear landmines and peewee launchers.

@WraffUmpteenth We'll never know how any of NATO'S doctrine would have actually fared, other than by reading Tom Clancy.

Ukraine will stop sending soldiers abroad for training and plans to conduct all military personnel training exclusively on Ukrainian territory. This decision is attributed to the fact that instructors from Western countries lack modern combat experience.

Ukraine needs new soldiers, but front line service isn’t for everyone. Instructors of the 3rd Assault Brigade put prospective recruits through a stress resistance test in trenches.

I’m tired boss, the U.S. is literally kicking the shit out of a nation with a modern military right now. Ukraine didn’t stop because “Westerns aren’t modern enough” they stopped sending them because Ukraine has a hybrid Soviet-DroneSlav way of war that isn’t compatible with NATO doctrine. NATO blasphemy needs to stop.

I can't wrap my head around men who do this. When I've been in nature with women, even the ones I have zero romantic entanglements with, I've always understood it as an unspoken but sacred fact that I am there for protection if anything goes awry. Deserting a woman in the middle of nowhere is so vile it offends my deepest conceptions of what it even means to be a man.

this is kind of surreal to me, who the fuck would do this to anyone

urdu has a word for the pain of separation that contains, within it, the assumption that reunion is cosmically possible. while english is so spiritually bankrupt it can name the ache but not imagine its end.

They targeted a medical chopper. What's most interesting about that to me is not that they targeted a medical chopper, but that they blurred out the red cross. They're very much in-tune with the information war.

Well I stand corrected. As of now, Terminal C and D general screening is closed so they’re pushing to A and E. A is 15 minutes; E is a whopping 165 minutes. Meanwhile, A PreCheck is 3 minutes, C PreCheck is 13 minutes, and E PreCheck is closed. Translation: it’s all the international travelers and United passengers with luggage bottlenecking Terminal E.
