My beloved mobile charger that came with my Cybertruck doesn’t seem to be working anymore. It flashes a little bit of red when you first plug it in, then it goes away. When you try to charge a Tesla it gives an error “charging equipment not recognized.” This happens with multiple Teslas and it happens with both the 14-50 and 5-15 adapters. Tesla Wall Connector charges just fine so it seems to be the mobile connector itself specifically. Is there a reset switch on this thing somewhere? Or I likely need to get a replacement? At almost two years old am I covered for a replacement or do I need to buy a new one? Help @grok

Why in the world is Consumer Reports quoting these insane, unrealistic insurance rates for Teslas? I’ve never heard of anyone paying $400/mo to insure a Model 3.

I’ve definitely had a couple but I don’t bother to save them or have to overwrite the data eventually. One was entering a round-a-bout. FSD sent it but wasn’t going fast enough to beat another car that was speeding through it. I had to slam on the brakes which sucked because I was showing a family member that was highly interested in FSD/Tesla. This was on v13 I believe so highly doubt I could replicate it.

If you have a video of a FSD disengagement that resulted in the *definitive* avoidance of certain accident or death, I’d invite you to post it here. Note: Don’t bother posting if the disengagement was done out of caution, which is comfort subjective to every driver in America.

The great irony in MA is that I’m the Republican Nominee for U.S. Senate - running against the co-author of the Green New Deal - @EdMarkey. Yet, take a guess which one of us has solar panels on our house? It’s not Ed Markey - not in Chevy Chase Maryland or in Malden. I also drive a Tesla and @elonmusk is right - after driving one - rather, letting it drive me wherever I want to go - you don’t want to drive anything else. Fact; my Model Y is faster than the AMG I used to drive. Although I drive an EV and have solar panels on my house - the good news is that unlike my political opponent, I’m well aware of the fact that MA can’t solve climate change by itself. Our annual carbon emissions is less than 2 days of China’s. It’s insane to punish MA businesses, residents and taxpayers by push net zero mandates by some arbitrary date. The good news: I have an energy plan that expands both solar and natural gas while incorporating nuclear - by strategically placing 4 300MW SMRs and powering nearly 40% of the 2.9 million homes across the Commonwealth - driving costs down significantly. #mapoli #MASen #Deaton

crazy take lol but i respect you putting it out there for me my numbers are like gali's. i have an m3p - theres zero chance im going to be driven around like a grandma 99% of the time. ive gone 20 years of driving without an accident and i do believe im still better than fsd. and i do enjoy driving. and when im in a hurry, the speed profiles dont get it done - i want control to slow down where cops sit and to avoid potholes, things fsd does not do. plus i HATE sitting at stop signs for what feels like an eternity fsd is incredible but to say i dont care about safety and im selfish bc i enjoy being in control and driving is...aggressive

Either you think you’re better than FSD .. which you aren’t or you don’t care about other ppls safety as much as you care about yourself. And don’t give me this BS “I like to drive”. @AtheerUp @elonmusk @wholemars She hit the accelerator instead of the brake, guaranteed. No time duration will fix pedal misapplication. So odd that people experience this. I’ve owned Teslas for almost 7 years and I’ve never done this.

AP sucked and was an entirely different experience than FSD while maintaining a lane. That’s why it had to die. But not replacing it is crazy. My VW maintains its lane better than my Tesla and without slamming on the brakes in stop and go traffic. AP has (intentionally?) regressed over the years.

How do you give a free version of FSD? When you think about it, it’s impossible. They either need it all or none. Cannot have this half baked shit that then get Tesla blamed when things go wrong. The average consumer never understood “Well FSD wouldn’t have crashed, AP did though because it just sucks”. No, they just saw that a Tesla wrecked while using autonomy. Some say TACC should have highway lane keeping. Okay, but you let the car hit debris on the road? How about letting another driver merge who’s trying to get over? A free version gets icky really quick. Which is why AP had to die. Either you have FSD or you don’t. Safety features obviously are always on. Give a free trial. But it’s FSD or nothing.

Tesla NEEDS to do a free version of FSD Delivering cars with just TACC is a fucked up situation Please Tesla, this will supercharge adoption. It’s not for me, i’m a paid FSD user. But we need to hook the users who don’t want to or can’t pay.
