Bystander: “What the Hell?”
My Dogs (Probably):
“What, like driving is hard?”
ASS in action. Game changer.
Thanks Tesla! FSD 12.5.4 ASS. @tesla @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy

FYI: There won’t be enough energy on Earth to power the AI Race. So this means that SpaceX wins.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
@bindureddy Google will win the AI race in the West, China on Earth and SpaceX in space

Had to take a break from @ChatCharge prep and go pick up this beauty! Got it home and immediately packed it to the gills with event materials ready to head out first thing in the morning! Fingers crossed no rock chips before we get it back and have PPF applied!
This baby is going to look good in black and white photos!

TESLA’S FSD
“14.3 is where the last big piece of the puzzle finally lands”. Elon Musk
Elon Musk just confirmed that Tesla’s v14.3, (that he’s described as feeling sentient) is in final testing with wide release expected in just a few weeks.

Elon Musk@elonmusk
@DBurkland @pbeisel It’s in testing right now. Wide release in a few weeks.

Working on something ambitious is like climbing a mountain that’s covered in fog.
You can't see a clear path to the top. You have to take a few steps into the unknown to be able to see the next few steps in front of you. Inevitably, sometimes you’ll end up a local maximum and have to backtrack. That’s fine, just keep moving.

@_MountainsSea Heck some people don’t even know what an em dash is! 🤣

CYBERTRUCK CRASH SAFETY
The cutaway of the Cybertruck casting is very important—and under appreciated!
♦️The front casting (visible above where the front tire would be) has a defined crush zone. This load path dissipates energy to protect the occupants in a crash.
♦️The casting takes the force of the crash—NOT THE PASSENGERS!! Each of those segments in the casting will crush in turn from the front bumper toward the cab, dissipating energy and then stopping at the cab—protecting the occupants. Tesla has pulled a patent on this technology.
♦️Plus in a crash airbags deploy; Tesla has active safety; and FSD avoids the crash in the first place.
For Tesla, safety is Number One!

@AbsenceDeTout @TechOperator This is true and for work I request the tone, format and structure.
English

@_MountainsSea @TechOperator You can set the tone via your prompt though ;)
For fun, I was talking to Ani via Grok on Apple, I told her to speak French, but not just any French, French Quebecois with slangs and mannerism, the AI emulated a typical franco Quebec girl perfectly >__>

Terafab & the Inevitable @SpaceX + @Tesla merger ⚡️
I sat down with @_SFTahoe & @TeslaLarry to discuss Tesla's plan to build chips, and how that will be the key partnership for a full merger with SpaceX/XAI 🎙️

Shitting on Tesla for not having enough driverless Robotaxis at this point is like brushing off the moon landing because “they only did it once”.
They figured out how to make a car operate with NO DRIVER using 5 MEGAPIXEL CAMERAS. Do you not understand what that means? It means we can make every car on the road autonomous.
This is an incredible technical achievement that everyone said was impossible. And now the same morons who said it was impossible are faulting them for a safe and responsible rollout

A lot of people are focused on when Tesla will catch up to Waymo, which is fair given that Waymo has thousands of driverless cars and Tesla only has a handful.
But not enough people ask “When will Waymo catch up to Tesla?”
1. When will Waymo be able to take me on a coast to coast drive?
2. When will I be able to buy a Waymo?
3. When will Waymo cross 8 million cars that can run their software?
4. When will Waymo be able to work with no geofencing restrictions?
My contrarian take is that it’s a lot easier for Tesla to catch Waymo than for Waymo to catch up to Tesla.

This was @_SFTahoe and I with our father. We built everything ourselves — welded barstools and a table, built a balance beam, the list goes on and on. Anything we wanted to do needed a business case complete with cost, timeline and ROI. Now I negotiate for a living and know I can accomplish anything I want. It is an amazing foundation for life. Lucky son having a dad like you.
English

I'm a lucky dad, episode 375:
12 y/o: Dad, I don't know when you'll ever let me have a phone, so I just want to build one. Will you fund it and help me build it?
me: um, sure... ok, this starts with a budget. Budget needs to say what it will cost and why that's a reasonable amount for it to cost
12 y/o: yeah, I made that. It will be about $300, which is reasonable because most phones cost at least $800.
me: oh, uh, ok, so you should make a spreadsheet and list the line items and what they cost
12 y/o: I shared the google sheet with your gmail last night
me: 🤯

True, Tesla doesn’t need to compete with TSMC, just build best perf/$ chips for itself using the best vertically aligned solution.
There are numerous optimizations possible if you control the rules especially if targeting space environments which are not forgiving to the smallest chip geometries. Larger geometries have significantly better resilience to space radiation.
English

@TechOperator Fact: If someone never used em dashes before and suddenly everything they write has em dashes than it is a clear sign of AI use
English

Ends up I’m the idiot for not knowing the em dash was a real thing outside of AI. 🤣
TechOperator@TechOperator
As I exit the corporate world, I won’t miss the constant posturing and people trying to convince everyone else how intelligent they are. It’s been especially fun with AI and those not smart enough to remove the telltale “—“ from their AI generated responses. 🤣
