This faketoshi cryptocult leader is back to launch an altcoin. He's picked up some tricks from Craig Wright, such as the three-piece suit and getting angry when asked to sign. Will you allow him to be your arch angel?

@notgrubles Arch's reputation for breaking down left and right is like Bitcoin's reputation for constant wild price volatility. It was true at a point, but that was a long time ago. I don't have patience for tinkering. My Arch just works, for years. (But if it ever breaks, lord help me)

BIP 110 is the first intentional protocol downgrade in bitcoin's history, actually making it a worse money. Think about that.

Cluster Mempool Explained with Pieter Wuille | SLP730 Pieter Wuille, Bitcoin Engineer at @ChaincodeLabs joins me to discuss Cluster Mempool. We explore how transaction clustering improves efficiency, impacts miners & exchanges, and strengthens censorship resistance. (00:00) - Intro (01:05) - What is Cluster Mempool? (03:05) - What is its impact on everyday Bitcoin users? (06:21) - How does the mempool work today? (11:52) - Current mempool heuristics and issues (16:37) - Censorship resistance and economic demand (22:56) - Practical implications for exchanges & miners (26:12) - How does cluster mempool work? (29:29) - Transaction clusters & mempool dynamics (37:27) - Should mempools align across the node network? (43:47) - What about other implementations of Bitcoin? Consensus has two meanings, network protocol consensus rules, and consensus on the development direction of a single project like Core. Neither of them are voting. Neither of them are a democracy. People who think they are, you are very, VERY, fundamentally confused about what Bitcoin is and how it works. Consensus rules on the network is not voting. It is anarchy. Anyone, at any time, can run whatever consensus rules they want, and form a network an interact with anyone else they want. You CANNOT force anyone to join your network, enforce your rules, or do anything they don't want to. It is 100%, on every level, opt-in and voluntary. Whatever consensus rules you choose to enforce, whatever network you choose to be a part of, is entirely your voluntary choice. No one can force you, they can only make their own entirely voluntary choice. If you don't like them, crying doesn't do shit, go pick different ones. But again, _you can't force anyone else to come with you who doesn't want to_. Pure voluntary, opt-in, non-coercive anarchy. You have no one to cry at except yourself for anything. Now consensus as far as what a software project does, that is not voting, or democracy either. You as a user, have one simple choice: use the software or don't. Not cry at developers to build what you want, not harass individuals over personal things totally irrelevant to the software (THAT YOU DON'T EVEN USE), use it or don't. For years though, that wasn't enough. This entire time, people could run whatever they want, whenever they want, but instead they engaged in non-stop constant harassment of people building software that none of them even use. Lastly: Technical consensus, on what is the right course to go, is not voting. Technical consensus (an actual defined thing: datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc72…) is arrived at when _all ACTUAL concerns have been addressed_. Read: real technical criticism, grounded in logic, not emotional, irrational, or nonsensical bullshit. There is technical consensus on this issue, end of story. If you can't understand why that is, then that is your choice at this point. If you want to intentionally choose to be ignorant, it's your life, have at it.
hodlonaut #BIP-110@hodlonaut

I've spent the last month looking closely at how Bitcoin Core and the network around it has operated the last years. A blatant cultural and philosophical shift. Shocking arrogance and contempt for dissent on display around the OP_RETURN uncap. Opposition was reframed as "harassment", "drama" and "brigading". Consensus was simply declared, in the face of massive controversy and opposition. Bitcoin is imo clearly drifting towards “anything goes if there is a use case out there” relativism. Bitcoin is supposed to be money. That's the mission. Separating money and state. Not being a data layer adapting to the needs of venture-backed projects. Staying neutral while Bitcoin drifts in this direction isn't something I can justify anymore. It feels urgent that something is done to counter it.

@coinjoined The letter is dated 2026-02-23, but its QR code leads to a website at a domain that was registered 2026-03-07 🤔 The letter says it's an emergency, but the website says it's about "tomorrow's quantum threats". The signs are there – this might be fake!

🚨PSA: Just received a "quantum emergency update" letter at our business address. Nice try, scammers. Two red flags: 1️⃣ Asking me to "upgrade my seed security" 2️⃣ The email is way too polite to have ever been written by @nvk Stay safe out there. 🧠

Any "bitcoiner" who wants Bitcoin to have more than one use case is just a pathetic shitcoiner scammer larping as a bitcoiner. Don't trust anything people like this say, all they want is to take your money.

These are the people pushing BIP-110. To REMOVE things needed to build more Layer 2s, to scale to more people. Talking about "problems in the future" being ignored, as they scream demanding to neuter the entire protocol and cripple our ability to SCALE. THE problem.
Jim | #BIP110 | Bitcoin, not jpegs@venorusprime

@theonevortex @simulx4 @brian_trollz Just because there isn't a problem now (in your opinion) doesn't mean there isn't a problem in the future. Blockchain bloat caused by spam is a hinderance to node runners and an unnecessary attack vector on the protocol.

Cluster Mempool is foremost a local node improvement. It optimally sorts unconfirmed transactions, which makes it faster for your node to process transactions and build blocks, and it optimizes fees from block templates—regardless of what transactions you admit to your mempool.
