@RivianTrackr Not sure who wants to figure out the math curve but here were the last couple Tesla chargers. They went really well (I believe one wasn't as great but can't remember which one).

@brian4591 You are a rarity my friend as Tesla has typically been the worse charging curve for Rivian but either way, this was on the vehicle not the EVSE.

I can't wait for the vebal commands to come to FSD. "Hey Tesla, that's my friend in the car ahead - can you follow them for the rest of the drive" or "Hey Tesla, can you park at the back so we aren't near any other vehicles? And could you pull in so that I could load stuff into the trunk easier" I think no matter how good FSD gets there is going to always be some ammount of user preferences that will be impossible to get right for everyone. So Tesla just needs to build a baseline that is safe and logical, and from there if the user wants something more granular they can simply ask the car. "We are following a bit too close, mind backing off from the vehicle infront of us?" I would assume something like this wont come until V15 or beyond - but who knows... Exciting times.

NVIDIA released a video showing their new Alpamayo In-Car Reasoning Model. An AI that explains decisions, responds to passengers, and drives. How it works: • Verbalized Reasoning: In complex situations, the car selectively explains its reasoning aloud, giving passengers insight into the Al's decisions and helping to build trust. • Natural Language Q&A: Riders can ask questions about the car's behavior or the surrounding environment, and Alpamayo responds in real time. • Language Instructions and Commands: Passengers can request actions such as changing lanes, speeding up, taking a detour, or pulling over, and Alpamayo performs them naturally.

@MoiNanette @TrevHal 400 files. Repeat offences. I can do the math, can you? What is your solution? There is a problem and it needs a solution. Catch and release is not working. Look at the statistics

400 police files. 64 charges. Released back into the community like nothing happened. This is what the justice system looks like under the NDP. Justin Collins is a repeat offender that has charges related to assault, robbery, and mischief. He just got 3 more charges. But now, he's being released again on $250 bail. The law is clear: bail should only be granted when a judge is confident someone won't reoffend and isn't a danger to the community. Justin Collins fails every single one of those tests, yet the NDP's justice system keeps putting him back on our streets. The Kelowna RCMP issued a public warning about him 4 years ago. But he's able to walk out of the courtroom on a $250 bail like nothing happened. We are fighting for bail reform because British Columbians deserve a government that actually protects them. Not one that makes excuses while repeat offenders run wild. Enough is enough. #bcpoli

Tesla implemented a key card backup almost 10 years ago. Toyota is just implementing it now with their new RAV4. In legacy auto fashion, they treat it as some revolutionary new technology. 😂

@niccruzpatane Ford keeps putting theses on their trucks and SUVs. Why? Americans. So we can hunt, camp, go to the lake, do whatever, and leave the key in the car so you don't have to worry about losing or breaking it. Pretty cool if you ever lost your phone, keys, wallet or all. Keypad works

@RivianTrackr But isn't that the point? You have to compare the best of each company that is available. Rivian is playing catch-up. They will be compared to the best till they reach or exceed it.

I still think it’s wacky to compare Rivian Universal Hands-Free to Tesla’s Full Self-Driving. It’s truly apples to oranges as it stands today. Rivian’s point to point isn’t even out yet.

I want to make an update to this post for all the people defending Rivian and faulting me for comparing this to Tesla FSD. My Rivian “Universal Hands Free” review The name implies it is more capable than it really is. The cost ($70 CAD) is way too high for what it offers. The claim that this works on ANY marked road is downright unsafe since it does not work well on most roads other than highways. The system is not intuitive to use and can feel unsafe at times as a result. This is a good first attempt at a highway lane keep with adaptive cruise control - the same system my sisters 5 year old BMW has (for free). The big difference is BMW doesn’t call it universal hands free and charge for it. Rivian should restrict this to being used on highways only or at the very least market it for highways only. Showing it driving around city streets implies to me the end user that I should be able to use it there without any issues. I like Rivian but it’s so crazy to me seeing Rivian folks dismiss my video simply because I compared it to FSD. In a world where FSD doesn’t exist - UHF is still bad.

Rivian Universal Hands-Free vs Tesla Self-Driving This was my first time testing Rivian's new Universal Hands-Free, and I was honestly surprised by how it performed. I understand this is their first attempt and it will only improve from here, but truthfully, it is worse than any version of FSD or Autopilot I have ever used. I respect Rivian as a company, but I always try to remain unbiased in my opinions, so here are my unfiltered thoughts on where UHF stands today. Hoping to test it more as the system receives major updates! Hope you all enjoy the video. @TesCalendar1 My original point still stands. VW should be way more capable by this time but they are not and are not even close to Tesla and Rivian. Sad for VW for I was a huge fan of them.

I was just at a restaurant talking to the owner about his Tesla and our new VW ID BUZZ. He thought it was very cool and asked if it had self driving like his Tesla? I kind of smirked and said… Nobody really has full self driving like Tesla. They are definitely the best. But the BUZZ does have great lane keeping similar to Autopilot. I’m happy give constructive criticism on just about anything, but I’m very realistic about the truth and reality!

@TesCalendar1 The visuals and functions are most definitely updated but the practicalities are about the same. It drives within the lanes and maintains speed and follow distances. youtu.be/0F-lJ8byk2Q?si…

@brian4591 That it’s the same lane keeping? Like have you tested them side by side? I haven’t, but if it hasn’t improved at all I’d be shocked. It’s pretty good on the BUZZ.
